I just pulled up to my Momma house, I decided to get her some food and some Starbucks it was kind of a thank you gift for watching her grandson.

I get out putting my gun right back underneath my seat before shutting my car door walking up to her front door.

I hear her loud music she was up early I start to bang on her door " MOMMA OPEN UP, IT'S ME." I said

" WHO'S ME? I DON'T KNOW NO ME." She says behind the door I then roll my eyes laughing

I then hear the music turn down " You know who women come on open up." I said

She comes and unlocks the door, she opens it and I see her and my sleepy son he looked like he'd just woke up.

" I got you some food and some Starbucks your favorite Momma ." She looks and smiles hard

I put her stuff down in the Kitchen walking over to her grabbing my son from her
"Hey dada's baby I missed you boy." I said kissing his cheek

He starts to giggle, he leans his head on my chest resting it there " Momma I didn't wanna ask you.-"

" Yes I'll watch him you don't even have to ask baby." She says going over drinking her Starbucks

" How'd you know I'd ask?." I said rocking Jr back and forth

" A mother just knows, you deserve a break Richard you've been having that baby ever since he was born." She says smiling at my son

She was right I never had a break I mean I didn't want one ever since I had my son I just couldn't be away from him it's always been just me and him.

" Thank you Mom." I said walking over giving her a kiss on the cheek .

" Don't need to thank me boy, I need to be thanking you for this food and drink." She says.

" You know I got chu any time momma you're welcome I just wanted to come check on y'all before I headed off to work."  I replied

" Aww you're so sweet, I never got to ask you how you'd like working at the Barber shop" She says grabbing at my chin smooshing my cheeks

" It's good they pay good I've always wanted to work in a barber shop and cut peoples hair especially when i'm hella good at it."

" My baby making good money and is very good at his work!! I'm so proud of you son." she says

" I'm so glad you decided to step away from that life Richard I mean it, I thought I was gonna lose you for good.. but now look at you! my baby works at a barber shop." She says all happy

The guilt in my stomach made me feel so sick 𝐈 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐚 𝐈 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐢𝐝

" Thank you momma all I ever wanted was to make you proud forever yo babyboy." I said leaving my picky out for her to grab

She then grabs it with hers locking them
" Forever my baby boy, now go on and sit down i'm finna cook what time you got to be at work.?" She says walking to the fridge .
