He said, and in the last moments before his soul separated from his body, he poked her forehead with two fingers.
Everyone was entranced by what was occurring in front of them.The sheer emotion of it all made all of them have chills in their spine.
"I know it's not the right time to say this but it feels weird to listen someone calling you a kunoichi" The dog lover said making a digusting face.
"Idiot! Now you have ruined the moment" The blonde girl scolded the dog lover.And they started throwing petty insults towards each other. This made the tension in the room lighten. No one showed any signs of them being affected by what was on the screen but they were stimulated by it more than they expressed.
The blonde felt himself laughing at that. After all of these he felt really lucky for not being the "her" in that universe.. he still in a way felt bad for her becuase in the end they were the same person but with different experiences that shaped them the way they are. and he appreciates the fact that he still has his friends with him throughout this all and also.. . He peeked a galnce at the person sitting beside him but quickly looked away feeling something foreign in his stomach.
Throughout the commotion no one saw Sasuke's troubled face at the side except for the mysterious person who chuckled to themself seeing it.
He felt uneasy seeing his other self poking the Naruto of that universe. But at the same time he had a small desire to do the same for the one sitting beside him; which caused him to revolt at that thought.
Naruto barely registered the limp and dead falling to the ground, the body of master Yasu which lay cold and still while Sasuke parted from his temporary host."
"I thought.. we were goona get a confessing scene from them?"The blonde girl said a bit of sadness in her voice but also somethingelse mixed in it. Getting over somone you have loved all your life is hard. It can't be done in a few weeks. And she felt like she was never goona get over her first cursh .. not that she was goona cry herself to bed lamenting about her love , definitely not... but deep inside she knew .. she was never really goona feel nothing for him; there will always be something but not to that extent she has now.The idea of alternative universe was still not quite settled in her brain. She still felt unease seeing the lives of people she had known since childhood living such a different life they have now.
The blonde blsuhed a bit on that comment but remained quiet wheres the duck butt hair forwned but deep inside he was also in a way definitely not waiting for one.
Madara felt gloomy and depressed listening to Naruto. Seeing her this torn up didn't sit well with him. So weak and desperate. It was beyond what his stomach could take.
"Wait a minute!" The silver eyed exclaimed suddenly.
"Why is Madara so concerned towards her?" He asked doubtfully.
Everyone seemed to have the same thoughts about that.
"Yes. Why? Isn't he supposed to be .. umm... that?" The blonde said not being able to fully express what he was feeling.
"Um.... Like... uh... I will tell you in the end!!" The mysterious person exclaimed a bit too loudly as if embarrassed.
He'd never known. Never guessed anything of this magnitude.Even though he was unsure what exactly this was, he was pretty sure Sasuke was dying. Making the last thread of Naruto's old bonds tear apart.
Everyone was immersed in the emotion of the scene and Madara's narration but Naruto was getting too curious about his or *her* relationship with Madara from that universe.
" I can't wait till the end!!!" The blonde whined. " I need to KNOW right now!!!!" He said a bit strongly, curiousness dripping from his tone.
They all nodded simultaneously agreeing with the blonde.
"For the first time you said something that I agree with, deadlast" The dog guy said mokingly.
" No! Be a bit patient!!!" The mysterious person said hurriedly.
"Just enjoy the show peacefully. I will tell you once I am read- no once it is finished . Get back to it!"
They all had their doubts but kept quiet nevertheless.
Sighing heavily he looked sideways, and spotted a sobbing Hashirama being entirely too emotional.
"Never knew the First Hokage was like that" The pink hair girl stated with a bit of uncertainty in her voice.To be honest she wasn't actually totally alright after the conversation with her ex bestfriend. But she was still trying her best to act nonchalant about all of it. She like the blonde girl was still feeling uncertain about all of this.
The lazy one looked disinterested in the surface but he mind was actually waving all the possibilities about the frouth ninja war and its possible causes; the mysterious person had mentioned. Because the war took place in both the universe but only with different outcomes.And it was too much of a coincidence . And for some reason it didn't quite sit right in his head.
The silver eyed had very doubtful and uncertain eyes while eyeing whatever was going on.
Clenching his fists, Madara looked up at the sudden exclamation coming from Naruto.
"Huh?" he blonde girl said.
Hashirama and Madara gasped as the scenery changed. Kurou actually gave a small shout of shock and backed up together with Shin and Izumi.
Naruto and the departing Sasuke looked confused from side to side." What is going on?" Asked Hashirama looking the many glowing lights all around them.
"What is happening?" The pink hair girl said surprised.
"Yeah. I thought it was a happy ending?" The blonde girl exclaimed.
"It is though." The mysterious person said with a hint of fondness in her voice.
"How?" Asked Naruto looking back at Sasuke." You're not depa-" She stooped mid-sentence, and the reason for that was clear.
" Sasuke's kun not departing?! So is he not goona return? Is this the happy ending you were talking about?" The blonde girl exclaimed a bit happily.
"Huh? ! No!" the mysterious person exclaimed a bit surprised by the blonde girl's imagination.
"Then?!! What will happen?" The blonde girl asked hurridly. She couldn't wait anymore to know what was goona happen. She had waited long enough.
The people around silently agreed to her. The blonde was also quite curious to how it would end and also the relatiionship of *her* from that universe with Madara. With the sad mood ruined he was getting a bit too invested in distracting himself from the actually important thing happening. Like Sasuke leaving the *him* from the universe forever.
Everywhere around them a large number of glowing lights was appearing.
Thousands of them.
Hashirama was already on his feet, walking backwards. He was both alarmed and out of his depths with what was happening. Madara came closer to Naruto just as Sasuke's half floating body moved down to the ground again. He was smiling as he looked to the lights.
They all were too stunned and mesmerized by the shinning of light so none of them asked anything and kept on watching.
The mysterious one was thankful for that.
"It looks like you'll get your wish fulfilled , Naruto." He said calmly.
Naruto didn't answer, she had her hands over her mouth in shock as she recognized the lights. She regognised their chakra as if she'd felt them yesterday.
They took shape, as they surrounded them.
