"Shall we start?" I said trying to get his attention.

"Sure" he replied, "I've already taken notes from chapters 1 to 20, you should do the chapters 21 to 40." He added

I nod. "No problem," I said getting my stuff and preparing to start my review

While reviewing I felt a stare on me. Is Xyrus staring at me? "May problema kaba? " I asked, he shrugged off and went back on what he was doing. "Sorry may naalala lang" he replied coldly

I hesitated for a minute but shrugged it off immediately. "Why did you move here to Marigold Academy" he suddenly asked gaining my attention on him

"Bakit bawal ba" I quickly replied. Nagtaas kilay siya "I'm asking you properly tapos yan ang isasagot mo" he darkly said , I gulped he sounds scary

Ang seryoso naman masyado nito. Doesn't he know the phrase 'I'm just being sarcastic'

"Sorry Naman," I said in a low voice I don't know why but I feel kinda guilty. Is this even normal I mean it's just that I don't like sharing at all.

I looked at him but out of a sudden, he pulled me closer. Puta

"Don't look at me with those eyes Celeste" mahina niyang sambit while one of his hands is on my waist.

"X-Xyrus" nauutal kong sambit. What is happening? I don't understand.

"Just don't ever play with my words again Celeste " Sabi sabay bitaw sa baywang ko

EXCUSE ME? AKO LOSER? hahaha funny Xyrus but I'm not a loser and let me remind you that I'm a valedictorian in elementary and I'm a consistent top student in my former schools.

Is this man serious, di niya at kilala ang taong sinasabihan niya ng loser. I just rolled my eyes out of frustration ayaw ko namang makipag talo sa kanya.

Hours passed and I'm still studying with Xyrus not gonna lie but I'm doing good with him but still, I don't like him.

While reading the last chapter Xyrus trapped my shoulder, I looked at him arching one of my eyebrows "Let's eat I'm hungry, my treat" sabi niya sabay kaladkad saakin palabas ng library.

"Wait lang, ganyan ka naba kagutom para kaladkarin ako ng ganito" napatigil siya ng marinig niya ang reklamo ko.

"Kung ayaw mong sumama di wag" Iritadong sambit niya at tsaka ako iniwan

Napatakbo nalang ako para habulin siya "huy sandali, wala naman akong sinabing ayaw ko" sabi ko habang hinahabol parin siya. Gosh ang bilis naman niyang maglakad.

His just ignoring me, wow ha "hey I'm talking to you" sigaw ko sakanya dahil nga tumigil na kong habulin siya.

He's freaking the first person na hinabol ko ng ganun. I look stupid now because of him!

"Puro ka dada jan bilisan mo nalang kaya" sigaw niya pabalik , nakabusangot ako at agad na tumakbo palapit sakanya

Pagkadating namin sa cafeteria , umorder agad siya at binilisang magbayad.. ".. Kain na" sabay abot niya sakin ng isang cheese burger. Kinuha ko ito at tsaka binuksan para kainin.

"Thanks," I said before taking a bite of my food. He just nodded and continued eating.

"Umm, could I ask something?" I said trying not to be nervous but I don't know why I'm like this. Is it because I'm nervous?

"Go ahead"

"Erm, why did you move here to Marigold Academy" sabi ko trying not to be so curious about him. I just thought of it actually

"To be the valedictorian this school year," he said in a calm tone yet serious. Oh Okay....that's gonna be a problem to me. I mean I'm running to be the valedictorian too so that means he's gonna be my rival huh

"Natahimik ka"

"Ah Wala, ano lang kasi may naalala lang ako"

Shit,sinasabi ko na nga ba. Mali ata ang pinasok ko Ngayon.
