Just seeing the title, do you guys already know what the story will be? Or maybe some of you don't know what it's about. Remember, this is just an AU. It's not canon and is just fiction. I can only explain what it was about in the story. I got inspired by a song. I hope you enjoy reading this one.

ONE DAY

After he finishes one of the missions with his team, Ali goes to the Pinggiran to check on Mak Yah and the others there. To go there, he usually uses the road where Dr. Ghazali used to drive there. But this time, he used a different route. He uses the woods route since he wants to explore for a while with his scooter. Suddenly, he saw someone with a hood cloth on walking inside the woods.

In the woods, I met a man
Old as oak and staff in hand

He went to check on the person as he got closer. Under the hood is a middle-aged man. The man looks at him with a gentle smile and asks him to sit down for a bit to talk. Ali feels that the man has something up in his sleeve so he has his guard up before sitting beside the man carefully.

Sunken eyes but gentle smile
We sat down and talk a while

The man starts a conversation first and asks for Ali's name and what he doing in the woods. Ali stays on his guard and tells the man his name. "Um, my name is Ali, mister. I just took a breath for a while before going to the Pinggiran. What about you, mister? What are you walking here alone?" The man smiled softly and answered his question by saying that he was just about to go home to the Pinggiran. He also said that he took the route because it was a shortcut that he usually takes to go home.

Ali starts to sigh in relief since the man is from the Pinggiran so he thinks that the man is a good one. Suddenly, the man asks him some questions that caught him off guard. "You seem to having a problem, young man. Are you okay?"

And he said I can see it in your eyes
You've been hurt a couple times

This is the first time someone has asked him about his feelings. He wants to say something but the words are stuck in his throat. The man said that he could see that Ali had been hurt a couple of times before and he got some antidote for him. Hearing that Ali gets on his guard again and looks at the man with curiosity and cautions. The man pulls out something from his bag and it looks like a blue glass bottle with tiny red pills.

I've got the perfect antidote
To cure a heart of stone
Tiny red pills in a big blue bottle
He put them right in my hands

The man grabbed my hand softly and put the blue glass bottle in my hand gently. He said that the pills can do some wonders and bring you to the nirvana. It also makes him feel better like a good man and everything is gonna be okay. Just hearing this from an unknown man already makes Ali feel like something is wrong and he knows this is like a drug but he can't help but wonder if he can feel better if he eats these pills.

Said this stuff can do wonders
Take you to nirvana
Make you a better man
I should've known something was amiss

Ali looked up at the man and saw that his smile slowly turned to a grin. The man starts to get up and is ready to leave. But he stopped and turned around before telling him the description. "Take one to numb the hurt. Take two to ease the pain. Take three to clear your mind and you will forget all the hate that you get. Take these as I advise you and don't take more than prescribed. Several weeks ahead you will be fine, young man." Ali takes note of what the man advises him as the man leaves him alone in the woods. He takes a look again at the blue glass bottle and mutters to remind himself about what the man advises him.

When I saw his smile turn to a grin
But then as he left me there so perplexed
He turned and said
One to numb the hurt
Two to ease the pain
Three to clear your mind
Forget all the hate
Take as I advised
Not more than prescribed
Several weeks ahead
You'll be fine again
