As Bluestar called the Clan together, swiftpaw's anger blazed within him like a howling pack of ferocious dogs ready to spill the blood of any cat that got in their way. Why was he here, forced to witness yet another undeserved promotion while she continued to deny them what was rightfully theirs? Bluestar's favouritism toward the disgusting kittypet-turned-apprentice Cloudtail was a slap in the face to every apprentice who had trained hard and waited patiently for their warrior names. Hate and scorn darkened swiftpaw s gaze. He had become an apprentice first, before all of them, simply a few days after Fireheart and Graystripe had become warriors. But now Firehearts own apprentice, Cloudpaw, had become a warrior before him. Swiftpaw glared daggers at Bluestar as she spoke, her words ringing hollow in his ears. She had abandoned her duty to the Clan, ignoring the needs of her loyal warriors-in-training while lavishing praise upon her chosen favourite. Swiftpaw had wanted nothing but to become a great warrior since his earliest days of kithood.

The injustice of it all burned like a wildfire in his chest. How dare she deny him and his fellow apprentices the recognition they had earned? How dare she mock their dedication by bestowing titles upon those who hadn't earned them?

But amidst the rage, a glimmer of hope flickered. Beside him, Brightpaw stood, and though swiftpaw could see a hint of awe in her gaze, her eyes were still blazing with the same defiance he felt. Swiftpaw trusted her implicitly, knowing she shared his disdain for Bluestar's tyranny. Together, they could expose her for the fraud she was.

As Cloudpaw became Cloudtail, swifpaw felt a surge of resentment. The silence that followed was a testament to the hypocrisy that had infected their once-proud Clan. Bluestar's leadership had become a farce, lost in her own grudge against StarClan, the rest of the clan were just too blind to see. swiftpaw vowed to himself that justice would be served, one way or another. as Cloudtail took up his vigil, his smugness only fuelled swiftpaw's determination. Bluestar may have turned her back on us, but swiftpaw knew that he would not rest until she answered for her betrayal. The time would come when the truth would be revealed, and the Clan would see Bluestar for the cowardly unjust, so-called leader she truly was. A plan began to form on the edge of swiftpaws mind, fuelled by his trust in Brightpaw and their shared determination to right the wrongs that had been inflicted upon them.
