12: Song

Natsu's POV

I woke up in my house on my bed. I stood up and scratched my head then pain shot in it. I groaned at the pain. A flashback of yesterday went to my head. I decided to go to Luce's house because I feel like she's the only one that understands me besides Gray.

Lucy's POV

I heard a knock at the door when I was done cooking breakfast. I had a feeling that it was Natsu to I immediately went to open the door and I was right.

"Come in" I said

He just nodded and came in. I feel like he's all torn up inside so I came up to Natsu without thinking and kissed his cheek and hugged him.

I felt his body freeze but soon enough hugged back.

"Thank you Luce that's all I needed from you to make me feel better" he whispered. I smiled, knowing that I can make him be himself for a little while. We parted from our hug.

"That reminds me I need to go to the guild very quick can you join me please" I said.

He nodded.

Natsu's POV

Once we got to the guild I saw all the dragon slayers in a group. I went towards them.

"It's coming soon" I heard Gajeel say.

"Coming what?" I said. They all turned to me.

"You don't know?" Wendy said.

"Of course he wouldn't " Gajeel said.

I glared at him "If you tell me then I might now metal head"

"It's about dragon season" Jellal said.

"O Igneel told me that before but not briefly"

"Let me explain" Jellal said. "It's when a dragon slayer finds his or her mate and mark them if you don't then you'll die."

"I don't get it" I said

They all sighed in frustration.

"Ok lets just say if you don't mark your mate you will die" Jellal said.

I nodded "But how will we know who is our mate?"

They all looked at each other nodded

"My mate is Mira"

"My mate is Shrimp"

"I'm still to young to mate"

"My mate is..... Erza"

"I don't know who is my mate" I said.

They all looked at me like I was making a joke. I gave them a serious face.

"We think its...." Laxus said

"Lucy" Wendy finished.

My eyes widen and that was all I can do. 'Luce is my mate' I thought but then another thought crossed my head 'Who will my sister's mate be if she was still alive? Gray? Or someone else?' I then let go of that thought because I know I would start crying about my sister.

Crystal's POV

I started to steal two weeks ago, not in a bad way but good way. I would steal back things that darks guilds would get from citizens. They would thank me and give me gifts. They started to call me "Dragon born" (Don't judge) And I'm glad I'm making a difference even if its small but I'm worried about something and that's Dragon Season. My mom told me about it. If I don't mate then I'll die for real. I already know who my mate is and he's Gray Fullbuster.
