"Anong pinagsasabi niyo?"

I didn't know where this was coming from. All I know is Clad and me are rivals It comes to academics and that's what we show to everyone in school. Then suddenly we have an issue about dating? Oh come on!

"My gosh, Tali! Just admit that you and Clad are back together!" Lottie said after shrugging and rolled her eyes.

"We're not!" Mabilis kong sagot.

"If you two didn't really date, then what is it?" She showed me a photo.

It was a photo of me and Clad eating together last night. Nanlaki ang mata ko sabay higit ng phone niya para matignan ng husto. My back and his back is obviously ours and also it was obvious that we are talking because we are staring at each other while my mouth is open.

"How did you get it?" Nag angat ako ng tingin sa kaniya. "Are you stalking me?"

Nandidiri niyang binawi ang phone niya. "Excuse me? Do I look stalker?"

"So how?"

"I don't know! Pinasa lang sa akin ni Lottie 'to kagabi!"

Nilapat ko ang tingin ko kay tingin ko kay Lottie at bago pa bumuka ang bunganga ko ay nagsalita na siya.

"Wills sent it to me last night. He was with Clad before he approached you. So tell me what the fuck is happening? Kahit si Wills walang idea kung bakit bigla kang kinausap ulit ni Clad after all of you have done"

He was with Wills? Fuck! Naiintindihan ko sila kasi kahit ako din naman nagtataka kung bakit niya ko nilapitan no!

"Bakit ba ang big deal sa inyo? Look, it was a normal picture of me and Clad. Hindi naman kami naghalikan pero kung maka-react kayo..."

Natigilan sila dahil sa sinabi ko. Kita ko kung paano umirap si Lottie sa akin at kung paano nanlaki ang mata ni Zyriel sa akin.

"Hey, hindi big deal sa amin ito 'no! May be you!" Nilingon ko agad siya, "Kasi if hindi big deal sa 'yo 'to? Magkukwento ka! Hindi 'yung kami pa 'yung magtatanong sa 'yo nito. So tell us what happened last night?"

Tinignan ko sila at napalunok na lang nang makita ang determinadong mga mata sa kanila. Maybe, i don't have a choice and just tell them what happened. Pati masyado akong naapektuhan ng sinabi ni Lottie. Siguro ako nga lang ang nagpapalaki nito. Napagat ako ng labi nang maalala kung paano umakto si Clad kanina.

"Fine!"

Parehas silang napabuntong hininga. Umayos sila ng pagkaka-upo at deretsong nakatitig sa akin. Kaka-pressure naman kung paano sila maningin.

"I was eating my donut silently and then he suddenly appeared beside me. As usual we tease each other but suddenly the tension between us begins being awkward. He asked about my parents... and when he said goodbye, he didn't leave immediately... he stayed for awhile until i said goodbye too.. tapos.. he smiled at me. A genuine smile."

"OMG!" Sabay na sigaw nila.

Nanlaki ang mata ko at agad silang sinaway.

"He smiled at you?! Omg! Grabe ang tagal na nung last na ngumiti siya sa 'yo 'no? What if ano..."

"What if itikom mo 'yang bunganga mo." Agad na bara ko kay Zyriel. Alam ko na pupuntahan 'non eh.

"Pero nakakalito 'yon ah! Pagkatapos ng lahat ng nangyari, may lakas pa pala siyang lapitan at kausapin ka ng ganon 'no"

Bigla ko na naman naalala kung paano kami noon. Kung paano namin alagaan at kausapin ang isa't isa nung nagsisimula pa lang kami. We always do our best to make ourselves better for our relationship. We helped each other if someone fee down and needed a shoulder to cry on. We held each other if something happened. We were almost perfect for each other but just because of that day, we were broken. We were both crushed and chose to forget each other. All the bonds and promises we built, we just buried in the ground.
