You looked up at Falin as she preens her feathers, after freeing her from the mad mage. She had returned to her normal self, but her chimera body still with her.

You lightly nipped at your nails as you watched her, hands itching to touch her feather. Wondering if it will be soft or if she'll allow you to help her with the certain parts she couldn't reach.
“Uh-Uhm...”
You stammered, not knowing how to speak to her.

“Can I help you? With your feathers?”
You asked her, anxiety swirming your stomach. The 'What if' questions filling your mind.

She looks down on you before smiling, “Sure! That would be lovely, thank you [Name].” her soft voice reaching your ears.
Her answer made a smile crawl to your lips.

You got closer to her and slowly, your hands began to search for pin feathers that Falin hasn't gotten yet.
Her feathers are far more softer than what you had imagined. Feeling it beneath your fingers it made you feel giddy inside.
Maybe Laios had finally rubbed himself on you.

You continued to search for other pin feathers while Falin is preening herself in front of her body.

You figured there could be other pin feathers behind her back, and so, you climbed onto her. Falin felt you try to jump up to her side making her look at you.

“Heh, sorry. I was trying to climb up to see if there's more behind you.” You nervously said to her making her laugh.

“You should've just told me.” Falin knelt down to make it easier for you to climb up.
You once again jumped up and successfully got on to her back.

After your successful attempt, you began to search through her feathers and continued to preen the pin feathers.

When Falin felt your hands behind her, she let out a contented sigh.

She ruffled her feathers making them fluff up, and you could only stare in amazement.

Falin looked back at you and saw your face lighting up, she swore she could see stars floating around you in amazement.
She let out a laugh after seeing your face and you only looked at her with an unknowing look. Confused as to why she's laughing.

“Why are you laughing?” you questioned her, a confused smile on your face.

“It just that seeing your face of amazement amuses me.” she wiped a tear out of laughter from her eye.
A wide smile on her face.

Seeing her smile made you feel happy inside, after all what you've been through just to get her back with the others, makes it feel worth it. You are happy to have her back.

“I missed you, you know...” you blurted out, making her look at you with surprise after hearing your words.

“I know... Thank you, for what you've done. For me, and for my big brother. Thank you for sticking out with us.”
She got closer to you and wrapped you in a warm embrace.

“It's nothing, it feels good to being you back.” you returned her embrace, wrapping your arms around her shoulder.

A smile both on your faces as you hugged each other.
