9 months it took 9 months of combining the DNA of Cyclops aka Scott Summers and marvel girl/phoenix aka Jean Grey to get a healthy success of a baby sure the 1st month in and the lab nearly burned down but I...no we were good heck I found an exit to the lab and we were near a town so I got a job part time being a librarian to make some cash to get supplies like food water, toilet paper, fresh clothes and and baby clothes and baby food and diapers and stocked up and sure people in town call me strange with the whole masked scientist getup but at least I some what convinced them that I just dressed strangely cause I have a very particular sense of style.
So your wondering why I made a baby with the combined DNA of Cyclops and Jean Grey. The answer is fairly simple if I needed somebody powerful enough to tank what the world has to offer and dish it back and be a proper leader that I can trust to save the world and I'll admit also for the overpowered factor so I thought maybe making a version of nate summers would be a good idea another idea that maybe when the baby is born I could make a version of cardinal from the powers of x book to be a better nightcrawler then the one in this universe tho I have to see if I have any of ajax's DNA to work it.

ait did the monitor just say Birthday girl ?
I thought then walked to the chamber.
The chamber open and revealed a healthy red headed baby girl and as she opened her eyes I saw that they were beautiful emerald eyes....oh god she is so precious... well time to change those plans for having a potentially nate summers and go for rachel summers grey but I'm Allright with that. I just always wanted to be a dad and have a daughter and now I can live with that even though this world is not that kind to people.
I leaned over picked up the baby girl and held her in my arms
"Hello there little one and welcome to the world" I said a soft tone and and gave her a smile. She looked at me and smiled at me and giggled at me. "I think I'll name you rachel. How's that." She laughed at it loving the name.
"Okay Rachel it is."
And with that Rachel had bin born and life got a bit fast and loose for a bit had to take her to the towns local doctor to get her checked out for her first few days of living. She was given a clean bill of health and it was off to the market to get some breast milk alternative to make sure that's she's feed well and new baby toys and clothes not to mention that the people in town are actually helping me out with recommendations for stuff to help raise rachel heck my boss at the library actually helped in getting rachel in to pre school when she is of age and things are going great right now...
