*TRIGGER WARNING* Blood, Gore, and Violence

"The world is my playground once more~ I can't wait to mess with it! The more things have changed, the more they remain the same. I will create pandemonium on this Earth! GRYAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

I took a deep breath and relished the fresh night air.

"Now, how do I find this kid's house?"

I looked around while scratching my head with my hair. All I could see were misshapen small creatures, barely smart enough to know in which direction they were going, so they wouldn't be much help.

"Man, Earth sure has changed in the past couple of centuries"

Suddenly, a massive figure caught my eye with the sound of its wings flapping.

"Ah, good sir or madam or none of the above!"

I approached the creature with bright glowing red eyes hiding in the shadows by a lamppost. Upon closer inspection, its dark grayish appearance made for great night camouflage while also wearing a black fur coat around it. It looked quite similar to a moth, which was exactly what it was.

"Didn't think I would meet a Mothman in these parts."

The creature stared at me for a bit before recognizing the aura of the human-looking entity that was yours truly.

"Grrlllggh!"

The mothman bowed slightly.

"Thank you, thank you! I'm flattered~"

"Grrgl grrgl?"

"Yes! I am in need of some assistance. I haven't been in this realm for a while and need directions. Since you possess above average intelligence, despite your.... Lack of proper speech... oddly enough, I was hoping you could gimme a hand. I was wondering if you could get me to the house of a... damn, what was his name again? Oh Yeah, Jeremy! I need to get to Jeremy's house. Think you can help, big guy?"

"Grrgrrg!"

"Fair, I guess it's a common name. Hmm... I should have his ID somewhere on me."

I began patting around my pockets to see if I could find it but it was nowhere to be found.

"Where's that damn ID? I know I had it!"

At that moment, something tapped my shoulder so I turned to see my ponytail giving me the ID.

"Ah! There it is! Thank youou~"

I looked at the ID and read his name out loud.

"Jeremy Collins lives on 6th Street and 17th Avenue. Think you could give me directions there?"

"Grrlllll!"

"Great, thanks a bunch, pal!"

The mothman took off from the ground with its menacing wings and flew to the north. I followed it by swinging on lamp posts using my ponytail. It wasn't a long trip, just about ten minutes away.

"Thanks for everything, pal! If you ever need a favor, don't forget to call for your chaotic neighborhood Grand Spirit!"

"Grrrlllll!"

I waved goodbye to the mothman with a smile on my face while it flew away waving back.

"What a good spirit. Unlike most of the useless ones floating around. Courtesy is dead among lesser ones."

I approached the middle-class house that belonged to Jeremy and his family. It wasn't as remarkable as Selene's place, but it was good enough. There was a car parked, so it was easy to assume his parents were in there.
