Todoroki POV ~ ❄️

Waking up, doing my normal morning routine, I checked my phone and saw a text from Bakugo.

Why did he send me that, you may ask? Well, I don't know. Mr.Aizawa told us about training today, so I'm assuming that's it, but I guess I wasn't paying much attention since Bakugo was so busy feeling me. Did I mention we're kind of fuck buddies? I don't know how it happened. I was drunk since Kaminari spiked my drink, and he was sober because he didn't trust anything from Kaminari. He told me about it and then we just continued from there. Yet, we DID talk a bit about our relationship. He says we're dating in private, I just went along with it. I don't hanve anything against it, whilst he despises the idea of the other finding out, to which I understand where he's coming from, and I'll respect that.

Walking down the stairs to the main room, I found most of my classmates already there, with Bakugo on the side using his phone. I saw Midoriya talking to Uraraka and Iida and decided to come and cgat with them, given that Mr.Aizawa likely won't begin our instructions until 7am, which is a bit late, if you ask me. Usually we'd start at 6am, not 7am. I'm not complaining, though. More sleep isn't something I'm turning down, given that we're probably going to work a lot harder today. The class seems a but uneasy about it too, if you ask me. Midoriya has already started mumbling and scribbling in his notebook, while Uraraka and Iida seem to be chatting about the upcoming- exam?

I walked up to them, Uraraka and Iida were chatting while looking at Mr.Aizawa, and Midoriya was busy scribbling in his notebook, so none of them have noticed me. I tapped Iida lightly on the shoulder.

"Ah, Goodmorning Todoroki! I hope you had a good sleep last night, as you'll need your energy for the exam later today!"
Iida exclaimed as he saw me.

"Goodmorning as well, Iida. What's all about this 'exam' that's going to be happening later today? I heard Mr.Aizawa mention it last night, but I was preoccupied with something else, I apologize for that."
I asked.

"Ah, do not apologize, Todoroki! It was a tiring day yesterday, so I understand. Mr.Aizawa announced a surprise exam yesterday, we're going to fight in a one-on-one with our other classmates. The people fighting are going to be selected by a wheel. Mr.Aizawa informed us that it is to observe how quickly we create strategies. Easy work, if you ask me."
Iida stated calmly yet firmly, to which I nodded in response.

"Ah, alright. You have my thanks."
I thanked him, before turning to Mr.Aizawa whom was shushing the class so he could talk.

~ Timeskip to training grounds.

Mr Aizawa:
"Alright, 3A. Since the other teachers are busy, I'll be here taking notes and giving you advice after each round. I'll keep it short and simple. I expect you all to take this information and train to improve over spring break. Got it?"

"Yes, Mr.Aizawa."
The class said in unison.

( for my own sake, I'll skip to Shoto vs Katsuki, then skip to the evening where things get yhhhhh )

"Shoto Todoroki versus Katsuki Bakugo."
The intercom announed.

Stepping onto the battleground, I thought of a plan. Bakugo can easily blast through my ice, that is, unless It's too repetitive. If I continuously trap him in ice, he can strain his muscles breaking out. I can easily use my fire to remove ice from my own body, but I'm assuming that if he kept using his explosives to cool him down whilst having to unleash huge explosions to get rid of the ice walls, his mucles should give out before mine will. It's a simple plan, but I'd rather not use my fire power.
