"I wonder how sharp it is..." Riki said his voice, low and dangerous
The room's atmosphere turned icy since Riki pinned me against the wall, the blade gleaming ominously under the soft light, along side what he said... my heart was racing, every instinct screaming at me to stay calm and maintain my cover. The katana was inches away from my face, and I could feel the cool air it displaced.

I forced myself to meet his gaze my mind racing for a response that wouldn't betray my nervousness, fear, or my true intentions.

"It looks... exceptionally well crafted. Your ancestors must have been proud to own such a masterpiece." I said in a steady way, but the fact he kept eyeing me was another thing, but he slowly retracted the katana, sheathing it back with a practiced motion.
"It's a masterpiece indeed..." he murmured, stepping back still having this judgmental while looking at me his senses high up, I took a deep breath trying to steady my nerves cause this situation is seriously nerve-wracking.

"Thank you for showing it to me Mr. Nishimura, it's very much of a privilege to see such a masterpiece up close."

He nodded, but the tension remained palpable, "You must understand Dr. Lee, my family values loyalty and trust above all, we have many secrets and not all are meant to be shared with outsiders."

"I understand that clearly, and... as an art historian, I'm only interested in the cultural significance of these artifacts. Your family's heritage is fascinating."
I still hated the fact that that there was suspicions lingering in his eyes, looks like this man is hard nut to crack... I should find a way sooner or later, but when his eyes softened I was caught off guard but the problem is he's good at hiding his plans, his face was unreadable at the moment.

"I hope that's true, enjoy the rest of the auction Dr. Lee. I look forward to seeing what you find intriguing."
Did he just leave like this, isn't aware that I might steal anything... actually i wouldn't, is he an idiot behind this smart facade of his or something? But thank god he left, cause I let out a breath that i didn't know I was holding. It was clear that Riki is a formidable opponent, and gaining his trust would take forever.

The rest of the evening passed in a blur of conversations and careful observations. I kept my interactions with Kenji light and friendly, ensuring that I didn't attract any attention while subtly gathering information.

The auction started reaching its end, I made my way back to the hotel, my mind buzzing with the events of the night. I needed to report back to the tram but first, I had to ensure that I wasn't being followed. I managed to reach my hotel room, the only place I could call safe to share any informations. I set up my laptop and initiated a call to agent Park aka Sunghoon, after a good minute, his face appeared on the screen, he seemed to be calm since he had this usual stoic expression of his that switched to concern then he said immediately.
