─I SAT BETWEEN my mom and auntie Emiko, the three of us watching the baseball game that was playing. My dad and uncle Hayao were making curry as Kenny was pretending to be ultraman.
"Hey Ultraman! Once you're done saving your dads curry you might want to fly on over here and save your team," Auntie Emiko calls out as Kenny flies over as I lean in closer towards the screen.
"The Tigers are losing," I hear Uncle Hayao whisper as my Dad goes to sit beside Mom, "Probably should leave your mother alone," I let out a giggle as I turn to face the pair. I get picked up from under my armpits as auntie carries me behind the couch, stomping and making growling noises.
"Not today, Gomora!" Kenny yells, as I start laughing more.
"Ultraman, save the citizen!" I was pulled into Kenny's arms as he hugged me tightly, "You have to use your force shield!"
"Too strong, can't hold much longer,"
"Distract with Ultra Slash!"
Kenny quickly picks up a pillow and throws it towards Emiko, "Get back monster!
"Ultraman, it's your colour timer. You must stay focused or you will change back to human form," Kenny crosses his arms to create an X as Auntie picks me up again as she laughs. She brings the two of us back to the couch as I sit in my Dads lap. My attention is dragged back to the TV, tuning out the rest of what was going on. I glance around once I feel Dad place me onto the couch and beside Kenny as he cheers.
