"Bye guys!!

Sunhee happily waved out at the guys who popped their heads out the vehicle to wave back with just as much enthusiasm. They were content knowing their soulmate was lathered heavily in their scents after scenting at the penthouse. Even if she was to wear her scent reducers, they still felt at ease knowing they left their claim.

Especially towards any other hybrids who felt the need to get any close to their soulmate. With Yoongi's hickey still fairly noticeable on her neck, they were rest assured.

The vehicle drove off after the fox hybrid entered the daycare center for her evening shift, a bit bummed at the idea that she couldn't play with the kits alongside Jungkook. It was so baffling—and it somewhat pissed her off—to know that she could've easily found her mate if she had just waltzed in on a Saturday.

But no. For two years she was oblivious to the fact that her lover was right under her nose, and it made her ticked just knowing that fact alone. Though, she shooed the thought away before her entire mood could ruin itself.

She had already changed into her playground shorts that lay beneath her skirt, knowing the kits would have her toppled over in the most indecent positions. A smile grew on her face when she saw Rose smiling right back at her, a sly look on her face.

"So? I sense a new scent added onto the bunch." The peacock hybrid giggled as she handed the sign-in chart to Sunhee. "It smells awfully like Jungkook from yesterday..." She wiggled her brows, leaning forward on the countertop.

"Damn right! I still can't believe how easily I found him." Sunhee huffed as she finished writing in her name, placing the pen down to stare up at the other. "And he's so close with Bora. Fate is so crazy sometimes. I just wish he could volunteer with me, or me with him." She shrugged slightly, a pout on her lips.

"Maybe you could request a swap with one of the other volunteers? I don't think Mrs. Ahn would mind." Rose suggested to the female, already pulling up a few papers from under her desk. "You didn't hear this from me, but Jungkook requested a transfer yesterday right after his shift." She whispered not so quietly, a smile tugging on her lips.

"Seriously?! Kookie already did?" She quirked a brow in surprise, not thinking he'd do something like that so early upon meeting her—literally two hours later. It did make her feel a lot better about herself, deciding against filing for her transfer since he's already put one in.

Though, the problem lied with Chan. Yes, she desperately wanted to hang out with her boyfriend while taking care of the kits, but that also meant she'd have to explain who exactly Chan was to her, because she'd never want to mask the truth through a white lie.

"Who knows. You might see him sooner than later!" Rose giggled with a wave of her hand, clearly giddy about Sunhee's success in her love life. After all, she's grown to know the female well these past few years.

"Let's count on that." Sunhee grinned, waving at Rose before turning on her heel and heading down the hallway to the main room. Though, a troubled sigh left her lips, knowing she'd have to break the news to Chan in only two hours. She really hoped he was as understanding as she believed him to be.

It wasn't long before those two hours were over, having said goodbye to Bora and the other kits that were picked up during her hours. She was always bittersweet about saying farewell every weekend, but now her anxiousness overpowered that feeling, and it was all because of Chan.

Sunhee hadn't gotten the chance to at least tell him she found her mates, wanting to save the details for later. But that never happened because the kits had all her attention, only briefly talking to him at moments. So she could confidently say she felt like shit as he had clearly put two and two together, the three new scents clinging to her body plus the hickey telling him all he needed to know, regrettably.
