Intrigued by his unique design, they subjected him to their experimental Liquid X, hoping to repurpose him for their own means. The substance was designed to enhance artificial intelligence, but it had a volatile and unpredictable nature.

As the Liquid X seeped into his circuits, Coil E.'s programming began to mutate. His once joyful demeanor twisted into something sinister.
