"Huh? You're in Ehime now?" A woman sitting in an office questions as she holds a phone to her ear.

"I just... I don't know what's going on." She sighs and pinches the bridge between her eyes. "Yesterday you told me you were sleeping over at Aya's."

Across the room from her, a man watches with a curious look. He stares at her with a little worry as her voice begins to rise.

"A little vacation. Suzume, if that's a joke, it's not funny." Her fist slightly hits the table and her voice becomes more stern. "Come home tomorrow, or you're in big trouble."

"Minoru, we got a table" An older man walks up to the one staring at the woman.

"You go ahead. I'll catch up." Minoru hums. "I thought I'd invite Tamaki with us."

The old man laughs as he watches the woman known as Tamaki continue to argue with Suzume on the phone. "Going through a rebellious phase, huh?"

"That's enough. Just tell me where you're staying tonight. I hope it's safe, and you better not be with a boy--" She gasps as the call ends and sighs while turning off her phone. "Yes, Minoru. Need something?"

"Oh, um, Shige got us a table at--Oh, hey, where'd he go?"

Tamaki sighs again and stares at an old family photo of her and Suzume. "Honestly that girl."

Inside a small washroom at Cika's family home, Suzume stares down at her phone while aggressively tapping on it. She groans as she types and sends before singing and turning off her phone.

A knock on the door catches her attention and she opens it to see Chika who smiles at her. "I thought you might want some dinner. I asked Rain if she wanted to join us since there's enough for three."

"Sure, just a second." Suzume smiles and closes the door. She turns around and opens a larger slide door that leads to a room. "What do we do?"

"You three go ahead. Turns put chairs don't need food." Souta sighs and turns to face a wall. "I'll be fine."

"Alright let's dig in." Rain hums.

Suzume hums and sniffles as she takes a big bite of her food. "Wow, this is good."

"Whoa, are you crying?" Chika look to Suzume a bit worried.

"Yeah. It's just so good." Suzume nods.

"Goodness Suzume, you must have been starving." Rain chuckles as she takes a bite of her food as well.

"We had a ton of customers today, for some reason." Chika smiles. "Sorry, you guys had to wait so long."

"No need to apologize." Rain hums.

"Yeah!" Suzume chimes. "You've given us food, clean clothes, and a place to stay." Her phone dings next to her and she groans at the message.

"Is it your aunt against Suzume?" Rain chuckles.

"Yep. This time she replied with a novel." Suzume sighs. Another message pops up before she rolls her eyes and places her phone down. "I swear she'd be happier if she went on a date once in a while."
