it was a cold night for everyone in London it was already October, and Estella's birthday was soon coming up, throughout the days her and tom got close they were best of friends its only tom who didn't show that much affection she didn't also show much affection to him, but they were now feared as they were known as the freak duo. all though she never tried to harm other kids a part of her wants to eliminate their existence sometimes when they make fun of her best friend tom. the two always got along as they shared the same perspective of how the world should be run and who should run it, both shared the same view in politics, studies, life. but there was something they would compete about. Studies the two always competed on who had the highest intelligence quotient, but it seems that she always won which made him envy her quite a lot sometimes. A certain day was coming up, but no one really seemed to care which for the girl was a special day no one even greeted her. she went back to her bedroom and brought up the cupcake she bought and lit the candles and said " another birthday alone"; she then sighed and was about to head to bed, then she felt someone's silhouette from behind.; she sat on her bd and recognized that it was only tom and was about to lay down again when tom said" hey Estella ,you really don't think I forgot your birthday right?" ; Tom said in a rather raspy but soft voice. She looked at him, then her face lit up and gave him a soft smile "happy birthday Lexie" he said calling her middle name that she let him give her a nickname "thanks' tommy" she said teasing him with that nickname " didn't I tell you not to call me that"; he said in a rather annoyed tone "fine then marvolo it is "; she grinned teasingly " well it is better than tommy"; he responded. He then brought a box and handed her an emerald, green box which she opened to reveal a necklace" wow tom its extraordinary, thank you tom" she gave him a warm smile. with that being said tom showed her a matching one." well it looks like it's time to head to bed, we forgot about the time, oh and tom. thank you it means a lot to me" with that being said she layed on her bed

she was running to something dark with trees like a forest covered in a black mist. Someone was running after her and that person killed her pet Infront of her, and the person revealed itself to be tom. she woke then she sat on her bed and went to look at the grandfather clock and revealed that it was 3:33 o'clock, people said that ghost roamed int those hours, but she didn't believe them or got scared anyways because she said that is to believe is to fear. she looked out the window and saw the moon shining with the stars. astronomy has always amazed her, she always thought that it maybe because of her name Estella meaning star and her middle name Alexie meaning man's defender in Greek mythology. the one goddess that amazed her the most was Nyx the goddess of the night, she adored how Zeus was afraid of her, she also had some things in common with her like their hair color, their perspective of life, their attitudes, but of course their love for astronomy and the dark night.

a/n's note: hi guys i know this is quite a short part but I'm trying my best and I'm on pc and I'm practicing how to type fast and there are some improvements I guess
