Ben 10: Into The Omniverse

"Wha- where..." Ben slowly sat up, rubbing the dirt from his eyes and looking around. To his surprise, he was back in Bellewood- his Bellewood! But it quickly became clear that something had gone terribly wrong. Everywhere he looked- buildings lay in ruin, cars were on fire, houses were on fire, heck- everything was on fire.

But his heart sank when he saw what lay right in-front of him- his friends... gone.

Forever Ben lay in a pile of rubble- his armor tattered and broken, and his helmet split in two revealing half of his face. Ohashi slowly tried to crawl towards his sword- which had been split in half, but collapsed... motionless. Baki also lay motionless in a crater of concrete, with several burn marks all over his body. 

Serena was stuck under a building that had fallen on her in her Super Saiyan state. However, something was different. Her hair seemed longer and even spikier than usual, with an occasional flicker of electricity. A few strands of hair fell onto her forehead also. Nevertheless, she too eventually succumbed- returning to her base form, motionless. 

Then, Our Ben looked up.

Atop all of this chaos was Eon- standing atop the remains of a ruined building, holding an unconscious Albeda by the throat. She slowly opened her eyes, attempting to reach for her wrist, before she was stopped- by Eon. Eon looked at Our Ben's horrified face- the shock almost too much too handle. He grinned a little under his mask, before carelessly throwing Albeda onto the ground, as she landed with a motionless thump next to Baki.

Ben didn't know what was going on, but he knew one thing- Eon was responsible for all this. He stood up, gritting his teeth and not saying a word. Almost instinctively, he slammed down on the Omnitrix-but nothing happened. He looked down, to see the Omnitrix beeping, and flashing sparks of purple electricity. 

"Come on, COME ON!"

Ben began to panic, as Eon slowly began to walk towards him. Finally, the Omnitrix's transformation dial popped up- but remaining purple. But before he could transform, he was grabbed by the throat and lifted up off the ground by Eon, who chuckled.

"Heh, you try to fight me, but in the end, YOU will be the one who ultimately chooses to BE me. " Eon said.

Ben was confused for a moment, before looking down at the Omnitrix. There was only one transformation available- it was a black figure, whose outline perfectly represented that of Eon. Ben knew what would happen if he chose to transform, but he also knew what would happen if he didn't.

"So, BEN.... what's it gonna be?" Eon gloated.

In a moment of desperation, Ben slammed the Omnitrix into his forehead, transforming. But as soon as he did, he could feel that he was no longer in control. His vision slowly faded to black, as he felt Eon's consciousness drift onto his body, replacing his own.

"Thank, you Ben Tennyson." Was the last thing Ben heard before it all went black. "The multiverse, is now mine for the taking...." The image of Ben's dead friends ran through his mind one more time.

"AAAAHH!" Ben screamed, sitting up in his bed in a cold sweat. He looked around in a panic, realizing that it was all a nightmare. Ohashi quickly claimed out of the bed below our Ben's, climbing the ladder and peaking his head over the bed frame of Ben's bed.

"Dude, are you ok?"Ohashi whispered. "You've been shaking the bed all night, now this."

"I'm okay," Our Ben said. "It was just a bad dream."

But deep down Ben knew it wasn't. This felt like more than just a dream, it felt more like a warning...

"Well if you need anything, Ill be right here." Said Ohashi.
