Chapter 2: Her Favourite Flower

After getting a precious gift from the king and the blessing of Godess Lakshmi as his daughter Shree ,he was on the way from the palace to his house happily thinking about the reaction his wife Tara will give seeing their daughter.While thinking of their little and happy family he entered his house but get shocked after hearing his wife's reply when he told her about Shree,her words were"Why did king give this burden to us ? we don't have money for our food
then how we will manage her expenses instead of giving her the king should give you a promotion that would be more helpfull" after listening his wife's ridiculous thoughts he was surprised but somehow managed to ask her "Did we don't want a baby , don't you want to have a baby ?" to this Tara replied "Baby boy,I want to have a baby but a baby boy not a baby girl,don't you know how expensive nowadays to raise a girl."Daksh was fuming in anger after
listening her words but he further asked in a calm but in a curious tone "What if Shree was our blood ,then did you still say these words?"Tara sighed and said "Obviously no,because she would be then our mistake and we have to raise her as we don't have any choice but that
doesn't mean my thoughts would change"Daksh was now fuming in anger so after keeping Shree on the bed near him ,he shouted "ONLY BECAUSE OF YOU GOD NEVER BLESS US WITH A CHILD "Tara flinched a little by a sudden raise in his voice ,Daksh further added"because of your small thinking God never give us a child you know what Tara you don't deserve to be a mother
and you also don't deserve Shree .So don't worry you don't have to be her mother but please if still some humanity left in your heart then please take care of her as long as she is a baby."after a little pause Tara replied while gulping hard "Okay I will fullfill the duties of a mother as long as she is a baby but don't expect anything else from me " by saying this Tara leave from there and Daksh sighed heavily and looked towards Shree and take her in his arms and said "no
matter what everyone say i will always stay beside you and take care of you" after completing his sentence he kissed her forehead and in reply Shree smiled the most relaxing and beautiful
smile .

Time skipped to 5 years later

Now Daksh and Tara have their own son named Kishan of two years and Daksh also got promotion and increament in his salary .

In late afternoon a five year old girl with a beautiful smile was playing with her baby brother in her house,Yeah you guessed it right she was our little Shree with her brother Kishan in her house playing peacefully untill she heard a sudden bang in the door and she quickly turned back only to see her mother standing and glaring her in anger .Tara rushed towards Kishan and take him in her arms while Shree is confused and trying to understand what is going on .Tara gave Shree a glare and then looked at Kishan and caress his hair and said"What are you trying to do with my son?,huh,I had warned you many times to stay away from him ,Why don't you listen to me? now go out of the house and stand it's your punishment for not obeying my orders"the sudden scolding from her mother made Shree flinched a little .Although Tara had fulfill her all
duties toward Shree but she never give her the love a child needs at her age and after having Kishan she don't pay any attention to her but Shree don't say a word against her and manage to
do her own work at such a young age .After hearing her mother's harsh words and false obligation tears welled up in her eyes but controlling her tears she said "Maa why I will harm him he is my brother too ,I was just playing with him as he woke up from sleep and searching for you "Tara rolled her eyes in irritation and shouted "I don't wanna listen your excuses ,just get out of my house "Now Shree was not able to control her tears and she ran out of the house while the tears are streaming down her cheeks .

Shree was continuously sobbing and was sitting hugging her knees near the river her favourite place in the whole kingdom where she can feel safe and relaxed ."Shree where are y-"a 13 year
old boy saw Shree hugging her knees and crying ,he quickly ran up to her and sat beside her and pulled her to a hug ,while caressing her back he asked in a worried and concerning tone "what
happened to my butterfly ?why is she crying so much? who had made her cry so bad? tell me their name"Shree recognised the concerning voice and she also hugged him back and said while
crying"R-Rao S-Sahab she hates me "after saying this she started crying very badly.
