"Say, you were so focused on making your dreams come true so you never had a girlfriend?"

You find yourself sitting across from Jimin after he leads you to a spot where he and his brothers often talk.

It feels like stepping back into an old era, like a princess's garden where she and other princesses would have their tea parties. The setting is exactly that type.

You both decided to ask each other questions after seeing the place.

"Yeah well.." Jimin bites his bottom lip in hesitation. But then he remembers Jin's words so he continues, "not a girlfriend really. My brothers have their own so I was curious about it and then realized it wasn't for me. I've had girls try asking me out, but it never went beyond that. They'd leave once they got to know me."

"Damn.." those girls? Leaving this Park Jimin? What the hell..

He looks at your surprised expression "But I understand why. I couldn't reciprocate their feelings and never had time for them, so I guess it's inevitable." he added.

"I..I guess that's true.." but then again, you don't really have any experience about relationships.

"Now my turn," Jimin smirks causing you to feel nervous. Since you opened that type of topic, you know what it'll bring you for his next question, "You said the boyfriend spot was for Wansoo. Would you still wait, even for a couple of years?" I knew it. You were expecting Wansoo to be in the conversation so it'll mean that he'll know.

"That is if I still like him." you answered shortly. If you tell him that you don't, would the deal break? "Now my turn, what's your favorite color?"

"Wow, what a rare question." he responded sarcastically making you laugh.

"Sorry, I'm running out of questions."

"Blue. Now my turn." he goes silent for a moment. Why is it always damn nerve wrecking when it's his turn? "Do you still like him?"—It's stupid but I want to know Jimin thought for himself. He's thankful that he got into this situation but even if his questions sounds weird, he can just think of an excuse.

Ah shit. You blink at him. Why do you feel nervous answering that? You can just tell him. Why can't I just tell him? If the deal breaks, why would it matter to me?

But I can just tell him not to stop being my personal photographer right?

"Jimin, I just want to tell you that I really really love the photos that you sent me." you smile at him sheepishly,

"What does that—"

"I don't. I don't like him anymore."

Jimin knows about your affection for Wansoo, especially in the way you look at that man. Despite the short time Jimin has had to observe it, like that time you met Wansoo at the coffee shop, he could clearly see the intensity in your eyes.

It wasn't love; it was something else, something Jimin couldn't decipher. Maybe it was that different when it comes to that man.—It was obvious that those feelings had been there for years, though he was unsure of the exact timeline since you never told him.

That uncertainty is why he wasn't sure if he could ever make you look at him the same way. He wonders if he could change that look to be directed at him, knowing it might take immense effort, possibly years to achieve.

Despite feeling that his question was foolish, he still asked, clinging to the tiny hope that you might answer differently than he expected.

That's what he felt before it really happened.

Jimin looks at you, lips parted, eyes and body frozen. It was a shock, you're saying you don't like him anymore?

"H-how..is..?" He's more than happy, with thoughts swirling about how to make you fall for him.

But he's beyond shocked at your answer. It was as if it meant nothing to you.

And you recognized that look.

You never told Jimin the whole story about Wansoo but you aren't oblivious to how smitten you looked when you gaze at that man.—Yoongi's constant remarks made you aware of it thanks to that.

You can also see the shock in Jimin's eyes. You even agreed to him, a complete stranger, to a deal, one that could put you in danger just for Wansoo. That's how head over heels you were for him, so you understand Jimin's gaze.

And somehow, you wanted to explain to him,

"I've liked him since middle school, quite a while. Even I'm shocked how it just went away like that. I still can't understand why, but that's just how it is. I guess it's for the better" no it's not "After years of chasing someone" after those years, he finally feels the same..

Jimin nods, understanding your words. You don't really have to explain since he's already satisfied with your words but it confirmed it even more after you explained to him.

"Now, my turn.." you try to fake a smile, not wanting to ruin the mood, "is...the deal over now that you know it?"

"Why would it be over?" he raises a brow and tilts his head, "I still need to practice until the event, unless you want it to be over or change the deal?" he asked, I should've said its not over..he said to himself. If you tell him that the deal is over, then what would be his excuse to see you? What will he do? But then he has to know your answer, he'll respect it.

He can just find another way to make you fall for him, besides, you aren't a stranger to him anymore.

"I mean.." yeah, I can just change it, "Then let's change it. Instead of being my date, I want to repay you."

"Repay me?"

"Yeah, you've helped me a lot of times. In return, I'll help you practice by being your model."

He stays silent.

"You..don't really have to repay me anything. I helped you because I wanted to..but if that's what you want, then deal." he smiles, jokingly showing you his hand for a handshake. He doesn't want you to think of it as something you need to repay but if that could be something that would make you stay with him, then he accepts. Let me be selfish for a while...Jimin thought

You chuckle and accepts his hand.

It felt nostalgic, the way it was Jimin who thought of this deal, and how you never expected things to unfold this way.

Maybe deep down, it's to keep him around.

Maybe deep down, you wanted this to last longer.

Repaying him, that's your excuse.
