The attack came without warning. The compound was thrown into chaos as the General's men stormed in, determined to retrieve you. In the midst of the chaos, your conditioning was triggered, and you went after Natasha, your mind clouded by the General's commands.

Natasha, realizing what was happening, refused to fight back aggressively. "Y/n, listen to me!" she shouted, dodging your attacks. "This isn't you. You have to fight it!"

But the General's influence was strong, and you continued to attack, your movements mechanical and precise. Natasha dodged and parried, her eyes filled with determination. Only catching your blows but never returning them, afraid that she might hurt you again.

"Remember who you are!" Natasha pleaded. "Remember our promise! You are not a weapon. You are my friend!" She didn't kniw what you two were exactly but this was better than nothing.

The words pierced through the fog in your mind, triggering flashes of memories. The younger Natasha, promising to protect you. The nights spent dreaming of freedom. The bond you shared. It was there, so near for you to grasped, if only you push through harder.

For a moment, you hesitated. The internal struggle was visible, and Natasha seized the opportunity.

"Please," she whispered, her voice breaking. "Come back to me."

The General's commands were a constant presence, urging you to strike, but Natasha's words were stronger. The memories, the bond, the promise—they broke through the conditioning, and you dropped to your knees, the weight of the conflict overwhelming.

Tears filled your eyes as you looked at your trembling hands. "What have I done?" You whispered weakly to yourself. Your chest heaved up and down, panic settling in as you grew aware of your surroundings. "Oh god, not again—"

Natasha approached quickly but cautiously, her eyes filled with shock. "It's okay," she said softly, pulling you in her arms, keeping you safe, amidst the tremble and roar of guns and men fighting around the facility. "I'm here, you're okay," she whispered, kissing your head as a way to suit you.

"I'm so sorry," you sobbed.

"It's okay, it's not your fault," she said, looking into your eyes.

"But he's here,"

"We'll do everything to hold him back, he's not going to get to you now, I'll make sure of it this time," it was a promise. Natasha will do everything in her power to not let you go out by her side ever again.
