I just got out of my class when I received a message from Jhanvi SOS !!! And without missing a beat I replied to her... But as I move towards the exit my mind wanders in all the different directions of what might have gone wrong.
Everything was normal in the morning including her sulking behaviour of not attending the class this early.
You see SOS is what we define as a "help me " or "Something is wrong " code . We made an agreement when we first received our own Phone that whenever one needs help this will be our go to code. Silly? Maybe But we made it anyways.
But it's been a long time since one of us has used it . I really hope she is ok, I enter the Supermarket and straight away go towards the Ice Cream station.
I pick up butterscotch and Belgium Chocolate, mine and her favourite then fill the trolley with few other junks to keep us going through the night somehow I have the feeling that whatever it is it's going to be a long night.
So more snacks!!!!
Then I pay up at the counter and exit the market and in no time I'm in front of Jhanvi's house. I already messaged Maa that I'll be staying at Jhanvi's so I have nothing to worry about.
I collect all the bags and ring the doorbell trying to balance out the bunch of bags in my hands so I don't drop anything the door opens after a few minutes revealing Aunty whose face converts from a smiling face to a frowning one seeing me carry so many things.
"Aree Aarohi beta tm? Aur yh kya itne saare bags kya hai inme?" ( Ohh Aarohi youu? Why are you carrying so many bags what's in it ?)
Quick form a lie !!!!
"Namaste Aunty, Aree yh kch nhi bss kch khaane ka samman hai woh kya hai na mujhe aur Jhanvi ko saath me ek discuss-- Mera mtlb hai project hn project krna hai toh jaagne ke liye kch toh chaiye na ." I tell her hoping she doesn't catch me lying. ( Hello Aunty, Ohh these are some food items actually me and Jhanvi have a discuss- I mean we have a Project yeah Project to do so we'll be needing some food to keep us awake)
