Ash: I guess that our battle is coming Misty!
Misty: Yeah, you're right
Narrator: Determined to become a Pokémon Master, Ash continues on his quest, gaining skill and knowledge and catching new Pokémon along the way.
His fierce Pokémon battle with Gym Leader Brock earned Ash a boulder badge and a brand-new friend.
Brock, hoping to be a Pokémon breeder, decided to join Ash and Misty on their journey.
Gary: Gary was here, Satoshi is a loser.
narrator: But with his rival Gary way ahead of him, Ash Ketchum is still playing catch-up.
We can only wonder what adventures lie ahead.
[birds chirp as Brock and Ash walk along the path, the sun is shining bright and Ash stretches as he enjoys the sunlight]
Ash: Ah, it's a great day to just enjoy the sunshine.
Brock: And while you're enjoying the sunshine, Gary's catching more Pokémon.
Gary: Well, you're right about that! [Said with a conviced smile]
Prof. Oak: Yeah, you really caught a very good amount of pokémons Gary, that's great, but Ash also caught a good number of pokémon, you two did great!
Ash and Gary: Thanks Professor Oak!
Ash: Ah!
Brock: But I guess a Pokémon trainer can capture Pokémon and enjoy the sun.
Pikachu: Pika.
[Pikachu looks behind itself to see Misty run up the path]
Misty: Hey! Wait a minute!
Pikachu: Cha.
[Misty catches up with the two]
Misty: Where do you think you're going?
Ash: Oh, I know where we're going.
We're going to Cerulean City.
[Misty looks anxious as she sweats buckets]
Misty: Ah! Cerulean City?
What are you going there for?
Dawn: You didn't told them that you're from Cerulean?
Misty: No, i didn't, i had a disagreement with my sisters, so i got away from Cerulean for a time [Said a little sad remembering that]
May: Have disagreements with our family is always bad [Remembering how she hurt Max after a disagreement with him]
Misty: Yeah, it is
Ash: Well, it's none of your business, but I'm going for more badges.
Misty: Uh, Ash, you don't want Pokémon from there. Trust me.
Ash: Why not?
Misty: Because they're all...
Ash: All what?
Misty: ...very scary ghost Pokémon that look like this.
Like monsters.
May: I thought that Ghost Type Pokémon was in Lavender, not in Cerulean[Said confused with that]
Prof. Oak: And it is
May: So then- [Misty interrupted]
Misty: I was just trying to scare Ash to make him not go to Cerulean, i didn't wanted to see my sisters
May: Oh
[Misty pulls her eyelids down and spreads her cheeks out while sticking her tongue out, she looks silly]
[Ash looks like he's actually considering it before bursting out into laughter]
