I start to hear footsteps climbing down the ladder. I realize that my lipstick has fallen out of my purse and was on the ground where the person was stepping. As I hear them slide they grab onto the edge of the closet that I am in and pulls me down with them. The door opens as they stand the closet up. He sees me sitting on the floor of the closet scared for my life.
"I'm Sorry..." I say quietly
"Oh! And who might you be...?"
"I'm-"
"You know... You'd be my perfect little flower princess..."
"I don't th-"
"Come here princess.. Let me introduce my self..."
I don't move but the man moves closer to me.
"I'm Leo... And you are..?" The man smirks.
Leo. Leo. Leo. Leo. I repeat that name in my head. I soon realize that he is a wanted criminal. The one that escaped prison. Leo, the criminal known for raping and murdering kids and women.
"I'm Kate..." I lie so he doesn't know my real name.
"Well I'm going to call you princess instead..."
I walk out and try to run but he catches me.
"LET ME GO!!" I scream enough to make him drop me. I ran faster than I ever could but I was running out of breath. And I didn't know where I was. I stopped at an old gas station and I walked in looking like I ran out of breath.
"Hello...?" I look around until I find someone.
"Hello. Welcome to the White Barn gas station, how may I help you?"
I look at her.
"I need you to call 911. It's an emergency!" I shout.
