It would be several weeks before the state of health of Qun stabilizes. His too many wounds, third degree burns and broken bones were a nightmare for him. Delirant of fever, he had to be placed in an artificial coma for several days.

The bones had to be put back in place, with no fewer than seven operations in a few days. His burns were also treated.

This medical facility now had the most modern equipment and was making full use of it, but this did not guarantee the survival of Qun's life-threatening prognosis.

Thalya, the queen of the magical village of Valoria had observed through their spiritual connection the trials of Qun. She had discovered what had been in reality several challenges both psychological and intellectual and finally a confrontation of will that had seen Qun strip himself and sacrifice to achieve victory.

She also noticed during the trials a mystical being whose appearance suggested that he was of divine essence. She knew he could have healing gifts and later wished to know his intentions and if it was possible to make an ally of him.

Yet she knew neither his physical appearance nor the way to get in touch with him. She asked her Kami Tsukuyomi to help her directly in this process. After all, Qun seemed important for him as well.

A few days later, at sunset, during the training sessions of his troops, the inhabitants saw appear on the outskirts of the village crows in large numbers, peacocks, animals they had never seen, Rabbits, warthogs and some gazelles. These animals were wandering around the village, seemingly without a clear goal. They aroused the curiosity of the onlookers.

It is as if some game had simply come to offer itself for capture.

The queen, meanwhile, walked around in her gardens, as she liked to do at those hours of the day.

"Were you looking for me?" Here I am! she heard on her right... turning back quickly. There, standing beside her, was a tall man, slim and with a sleek, dark skin, wearing a black suit with his hat. He had a set of multicolored stones around his neck that broke with the ominous of his outfit and married with his belt set with similar but smaller stones. On the foot, he was wearing santiags in the tones of his suit.

Dismayed at the moment, she did not let him appear and smiled before making a bow.

She had recognized the spirit in the cave, within this body, and her warm and dense aura was almost palpable and even seemed to envelop it, which was particularly disturbing for a mind as fine-grained as hers.

She finally wondered how he had managed to find Valorya, knowing that the latter was stationed on this day in the heart of an oasis in the remote desert territories. She saw in his eyes that he seemed to guess her thoughts, while sketching a light amused smile.

You need me, I hear..."

He spoke with a perfect accent and in his native language, as if he had also been born at the time and in his country, yet his appearance was that of a stranger.

"I saw you watching the trials of the chosen one." She said

"Indeed, I also saw you... very worried. The bond between you and this young man is very powerful for having seen what was going on in that sacred temple."

Feeling naked in front of him, she looked away and changed her conversation: "Would you like some tea?" She asked, heading for the terraces without waiting for an answer. He followed her.

Of course..."

Tea was served and they sat around a round coffee table facing each other. He took out an ivory pipe from one of his pockets, and then a small purse containing a mixture of tobacco and other substances which he buried in his pipe with a small utensil.
