Alphard (pure blood) is the youngest child of Pollux Black and Irma Black (formerly Crabbe). He has an older sister called Walburga Black <the mother of Sirius Black and Regulus Black later > and an older brother called Cygnus Black III.

Minerva (half-blood) is the eldest daughter of the muggle Robert McGonagall and the witch Isobel McGonagall (formerly Ross), and also the older sister of Malcolm and Robert Junior.

Alphard was sitting in the common room of Slytherin House, he and his friends, talking and laughing.
They had finished studying, and there were only two weeks left until graduation.
The exams at Hogwarts had ended, and Alphard, like his classmates in the seventh year, was finishing his education at Hogwarts.

"Do you still like that half-blood girl named McGonagall?" Alphard's first friend said and smiled at the rest of his friends.

He continued sarcastically, "She always draws attention to herself because of her superiority and knowledge of everything. An arrogant girl."

This description was not true.

Alphard tensed and said, "It's a ridiculous idea, why would I do that?"

His first friend replied: "Then you are afraid Alph. You are afraid of losing, so stop claiming that you are the most handsome among us."

Alphard Black was truly handsome young man, indeed the most handsome among his colleagues

His second friend replied, "Accept, Alphard. Prove to him that he is wrong. How about we bet on this?"

"I'll bet McGonagall won't even look at him," his third friend replied.

His friend said and got to his feet, " we agreed, will you make this bet, Alpha?" and looked at Alphard with a challenging look.

The voice of reason in Alphard's mind was telling him that this was a very ridiculous act and that he should reject this bet, but he felt that he would appear cowardly and afraid among his friends, and he hated this, so he tried to silence this voice.

"I agree," said the Alphard, "but if I win, each of you will give me five galleons."

His first friend replied, "And if you lose, you will give each of us five galleons, agreed?"
