Peter: Hey, Y/N?

Y/N: Peter? It's one a.m. Also, why are we talking in contacts and not in the group?

Peter: Well, its bcuz I'm too prideful to do this where the others can see. I'm sorry, Y/N. I was a rude rat to you, and you don't deserve that. It isn't your fault that you were added. You seem like a good person.

Y/N: Uh, thanks. I forgive you... but I don't really know how to respond to that.

Peter: Don't worry about it. You're good.

Y/N: So, uh- should we go to bed?

Peter: Yeah, see you tomorrow.

Y/N: Yeah. Uh, bye. I guess.

The next day

Gene: Hey.

Y/N: Hey. I'm still here.

Ace: Oh, great. They're still here.

Peter: Hey, don't be rude. It isn't Y/N's fault. Besides, they're nice enough.

Paul: Well, look who's joined the dark side.

Mark: Anyways, how was the date, Y/N?

Y/N: Oh, the date? Uh- It was... interesting, to say the least.

Vinnie: Oh, really? How so?

Paul: Wait, you went on a date?

Y/N: Yeah, with my stepsister's ex.

Tommy: So? What happened?

Y/N: Oh, uh- well, we went to Texas Roadhouse.

Eric S: Please tell me u ate every single bread roll they brought you.

Y/N: Yeah, I did. Anyways, it started off fine, until they brought out our food. I started to eat, and then this dude literally told me: "Are you going to eat ALL of that?"

Eric C: HE DID NOT!

Y/N: Yeah, he did. Anyways, I kinda just brushed it off, but then he started bragging about his law school degree, and saying how he made SO MUCH money from it or whatever.

Gene: Ooh, can I have some?

Y/N: The bread rolls or the money?

Ace: What do YOU think?

Y/N: Anyways, I don't want a second date. I don't wanna ghost him, tho. Should I tell him?

Tommy: It's probably best if you tell him. If you ghost him, he could wait for you for days, maybe even weeks before he realizes.

Y/N: You're right. I'm gonna do it now.

Paul: Good luck, Y/N.

Y/N: Thanks, I'm gonna need it.

You clicked off of the group chat and hovered over Adam's contact, hesitating before finally clicking on it, and typing to him.

Y/N: Uh, hey.

Adam: Hey.

Y/N: So, I was thinking... I don't really want a second date...

Adam: Why? I'm perfect!

Y/N: I don't know, you just...aren't really my type.

Adam: But looks don't matter!

Y/N: I mean personality-wise.

Adam: Screw you.

Y/N: I didn't mean to be rude, Adam... I just didn't want to ghost you.

Mark: How'd it go?

Y/N: He blocked me.

Eric C: He did?

Eric S: What a...

Y/N: Jerk?

Gene: Yeah.

Vinnie. Meh. He sounds like a waste of time!

Y/N: Yeah. I guess so.

Tommy: Well, hey, look on the bright side. You don't have to deal with him anymore.

Y/N: Yeah, I guess you're right, Tommy. Thanks.

Tommy: Np.

Gene: Can someone please teach me these text abbreviations?
