Moon groand the ray of light approached her face. She turned to the other side,but was hit with her alarm buzzing.The door bursts opens her two brothers ran in jumping on her bed. The girl immediately stood up from her bed,pushing her hair out of her face. Glaring at her raven haired brother's. "I swear to god!if you two don't get off my bed. I'll kill you" she gets up hitting them with a pillow. The two boys giggle, jumping off the bed running out the room. Moon sighs closing the blinds of her bedroom. "If I were you, I would be ready by now" her grandmother says stepping in. " it's the first day of school. You don't want to be late"
"Time is a lie, the world starts when you are ready" Moon responded, opening her wardrobe bringing out some options. "Well,could you hurry some more.i don't fancy being tardy for my yoga class". Caroline said to her granddaughter, tossing the girl her laundry clothes. Moon catches it chuckling at her grandmother,as the woman closed the door to her room.
She sighs, jumping back on to her bed. Moon,and her two younger brothers, Aries and Apollo. Were born into a family that has been around for generations. Dating back to the 16th century. The Rhodes family. was one of the most prestigious families in the whole of beacon hills. They owned a reputation for the finest hotels around the country. About two years ago,Moon's parents went missing in a plane accident coming back from Rome.Search parties were sent out,but still nothing. Moon was devastated,and just couldn't comprehend she would probably never see them again. The whole town new them as the orphaned wealthy children. That the parents suddenly disappeared. But,life had to go on, and so did she. Had to beat the orphaned sad pathetic girl allegations. Her grandmother took custody of the sixteen year old and her brothers.And everything kinda went back to normal.
Moon stepped out of the shower, staring a the girl in the mirror. Her blue being the only visible reflectant. She likes her blue eyes, it made her look different or more unique. She never knew how her and her mother both inherited that feature, since Moons mom was South Asian, it was a miracle. Her mother would like to call it. She Washes her face, removing her wet hair from the towel around it. "Let's get this day started"
