I just got dropped off at my place by andi after going through that crazy ass shit at the law firm . Me almost losing my life to two crazy men I barely know made me realize that life is short as fuck and I should spend it being happy and getting high . I tried calling my man after I got back and he wasn't answering his phone so I texted him telling every detail about how I almost got blasted and this man just said glad your safe see you tomorrow .
As my man you would think he would be a little more concerned about me or some shit but nahhhhh he too busy with those evil ass kids he got . I was just taking off my uniform top just leaving my white sleeve shirt underneath and I heard a knock on my door , I made my way to the door and when I opened it it was preston he came rushing past me making the door hit the wall .
" Preston what is you doing here , I didn't say you could walk in my house " . I say .
" Danni I talked to Zac and he said your were there with andi and fatima , why didn't you call me " He said .
" Boy you ain't my man anymore I'm not even sure if you ever was , the point is that it wasn't my place to tell you any thing " I said . I don't get why he is so concerned about me all the time .
" You know what danni nothing I do is ever good enough , Is it me ? like is it because I'm not your type ? I don't talk how you like ? Dress how you like me too ? When your new guy came around you got in a relationship with him like it was nothing but me I had to constantly prove my self and still didn't make it !" . He said getting loud with me which he never did before so I was a bit shook .
" Okay preston I don't NOT like who you are and how you are okay it has nothing to do with that so please stop saying stuff like that if I didn't like you I wouldn't have gave you the time of day " . I say and he just rubs his face and leans on my door frame .
" So why you got to give me a hard time danni , you didn't even try to make things work you just got a new man . " He says .
We just looked at eachother and honestly I didn't have an answer , He did everything right when it came to me but I just can't bring myself to take him seriously , I am so mad at my self for being confused because he is a nice man .
" I don't know prest- " I started to talk but he cut my off by grabbing the side of my face gently and bringing his lips to mine . I was so wrapped up in my life I honestly forgot how much I miss him .
And right now all those feelings I had built up for him came rushing back .............. well they were there until tony walked through my apartment door that was wide open for the whole complex to see . Damnit I like preston and all but this man left my door open and unlocked . That's one thing I DON'T do and I do alot of shit .
Tony didn't even speak he just walked away and when I seen him and tried to pull back from preston he pulled me back into the kiss and closed the door not even giving a fuck . I was mad at tony for multiple reason and I missed preston so I just went with the flow .................. I was also high but that didn't contribute to my decisions I promise .

It was night time and me and mason in me and zac's room , I was watching a movie and masi was on his ipad with his feet kicked up on my stomach . I heard as Zac walked into the room "Baby can you get me some water .... please " . I say smiling while he just stood there mugging me looking me up and down .
" You always wait til I'm about to sit down to ask for sumn son " . He went into the little mini fridge and grabbed me a water bottle . He threw it on bed trying to hit my leg with it but end up getting masi's legs instead , he sat up pouting and crossed his arms across his chest .
" Daddy hit me , I hit back " Mason said as he stood up in the bed and threw it back at zac landing it right above his you know what . " Scoreeeee " He screamed making me laugh .
" Damn mason you almost took out the rest of daddy kids , shit - whew remind me not to play football with you " . He said laughing , after a while he climbed in the bed and sat up so he wasn't face to face with mason .
" Tiiiiiiii " he whispered tapping my head . I looked over mason at him and it looked like he was trying to sign to me what he wanted to say . " Boyy can't nobody read all that in the dark , you do too much " . I say rolling my eyes .
" let's put mason out so we could ......... get busyyy , I aint been to work in a good little minute . " He says trying not to say exactly what he wants to say , mason looks up at us both and says " daddy been to work today " clearly oblivious to what his father was actually saying .
" You haven't been to work in a minute and you gone get fired if you don't act right " I say and mason joins in still confused " Mommy ? daddy been to work today right ? " We both laugh at him .
