3. Home ( hurt/comfort, fluff )

Lucy ran and ran, she ran untill her knees goes weak, but she won't let herself giving up here. The moon is high in the sky, showing that maybe its already midnight. Lucy feel so weak, thirsty and hungry. But she can't stop here, not untill she was safe.

Her mama had sacrifice herself to make sure she can ran away safely. At some point, lucy reach a river, where there's a small waterfall on top of it. Lucy tripped on a small stone, making her fall flatly onto the ground. She can't make it. She can't go on and she can only crying herself into the night.

She can't feel her legs, she knew she screwed up. But what a 10 years old suppose to do in the middle of the forest at night? She cries and cries, wailing to no one, asking for her mama. When a rustle come from the bushes in front of her.

"Hey, are you alright? What are you doing here? I can hear your sob from a mile away." Eventually came a pink haired boy, he didnt look that much older than her. Lucy didnt know what to say to the stranger in front of her. After some time, she actually managed to say

"I.. mama- she's gone..!! Huaaa, im so scared, im afraid of the dark, and i dont know where to go..." lucy said, venting herself to the stranger in front of her.

Natsu blink at her, he didnt know what to do, he never comforted other people after all. Igneel never thaught him that. At the thought of igneel, a tears of his own actually made it out from his eyes. He want his tears to stop, and he want the tears of the girl in front of him to stop too.

In the end he tried to hug the blonde girl awkwardly. Of course this shocked lucy, she never get embraced like this. Not by her cold father, not after her mom get so sick she can't even lift a finger. She didnt realize how much she missed this kind of warmth.

In the end she sobbed harder into his shirt, natsu began panicking once he realized the blonde girl cried harder. Did he do something wrong? What should he do?

Suddenly, he heard a tiny laugh coming from the girl "pfhh.. hehe, you're so warm.." lucy said, her gaze searching his face. Shining brown eyes meet a wide pair of onyx. Natsu didnt know what to say, she's so weird. Who would laugh after crying that hard? He thought to himself. However, before he can utter a single word, the blonde in front of him collapsed.

He panicked once again. It didnt feel right to leave her here. So he carried her on his back. Taking her to his small hut.

The sun rays making it up to her face waking her up from her slumber. Lucy didnt remember yesterday event that much. She only remember a pink haired..boy? Her eyes goes wide, she was searching the pink haired boy. Afraid that small comfort from yesterday is just another hopeless dream.

She began panicking when she can't find the boy in question. Lucy tried to stand up, but failed miserably when her head spin off so much it hurt.

"Hey! What are you doing? Geez, you're not supposed to standing up so fast after waking up you know." Natsu fussed after her.

Lucy's eyes goes wide, she can't believe the pink haired boy from yesterday was here!
"You.. you're real!!" Lucy yelled, so excited knowing her pink haired firend was real. Wait, they were friends right?

"Huh? Of course i was real? Did you thought i was a ghost or what?" Natsu said confusedly. He thought the girl he meet yesterday cant get any weirder. But here she is.

"Oh, um that's not what i mean.. anyway im lucy.. and you?" Asked lucy, clearly flustered by the other boy statement.

"Im natsu! What are you doing in the middle of a forest anyway? It's dangerous you know." Said natsu, his eyes looking at her face to search for an answer.
