"there's surely a lot of lyrics in that." he retorts, and you giggle a little bit. "the one that goes, "born under a bad sign, you saved my life,"" you confirmed. "what about it?" "i really relate it to us. like, you honestly did save my life, literally and figuratively. you saved me that night, pete. plus, you've helped me through so much." he sighed and replied, "no, that's not true. you saved your life. sure, i may have helped you start recovering from your eating disorder or gotten you resources for your self harm and mental health, but you're the one who's made it where you are today." you smiled at him, tears in your eyes, and almost pushed him off the couch with the force that you hugged him at. "i love you, pete."
