"I am not going with you, ji!" Y/N exclaimed, hiding under the table.
Kenji held her arm and pulled her away from the table before talking. "cmon, you won't get hurt! I'm just gonna talk and answer questions while you sit beside me."
Y/N tried pulling away from his grasp, but he was too strong

Why dont you go alone?" She whined
"Nah!" He smiled as he pulled her with him. . . . Y/N's POV.
i was sitting beside Kenji awkwardly, i usually get goosebumps when im in front of many people, but with him by my side? I feel calmer.
3rd person's POV.
"So, who's first?" Kenji asked with a smirk on his face.
Kenji seemed to have like the attention, while Y/N was sweating
"I do it for the fans."
"It's all about fundamentals."
"No, no, no. What i said was that i am the greatest 'living' player."
"Well, Otani can say whatever he desires."
"I love baseball. it's all I've got." Y/N's eye twitched when he said that but chose to ignore it, not wanting any arguments.
Many wanted to talk and ask questions, but a woman stood up, clicking her pen, and asked, "Why did you come back to japan?" Y/N's eyes widened and looked over to Kenji beside her.
"I-I'm sorry, what's your name?" He asked the short haired woman who was also holding a yellow notebook.
"Ami, Wakita." She replied.
Kenji smirked after realizing, "Hold up, hold up. You're the tiger's fan, right?" The crowd started to laugh at his words while Wakita frowns a little.
"The question isn't who i root for, Mr. Sato. The question is why, on the verge of your first championship, you chose to walk away and start over." She replied, then continued. "Some say it was emotional stress, due to family -"
"This is baseball, not gossip hour!" A man cut her off while the crowd starts to agree with him.
Y/N wanted to intervene, but she was too scared. Instead, Kenji held his hand up and yelled, "Guys! Play nice, okay?" The crowd suddenly stopped, and Kenji continued."I'm happy to answer the question. Miss Wakita, Please continue." He smiled.
"Thank you." She looked back at him and continued to talk."Some speculate your departure was connected to the loss of your mother, that there was some sort of unfinished family business." She finished.
Kenji drank from the water bottle and cleared his throat before speaking, "My apologies, Miss Wakita. Unfortunately, i have a fan event to attend to."
Wakita crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes at him.
"I look forward to seeing you all in a couple of days. Where i promise the Ken Sato show will be in full effect." Before standing up and pulling Y/N with him, he spoke "much love" and left.
With that, they got out of the room, Y/N stayed silent as he looked at his watch. Mina notified, "Neronga is attacking akihabara."
"Ah, crap..." he muttered under his breath.
Coach Shimura followed them from behind before yelling, "Oi!, Sato!"
"Hey, Coach Shimura!" He turns to him with his charming smile
"You can't charm me. There's no place for the Ken Sato show on my team." Coach shimura declared.
Kenji held his hand up. "Look, i get it. It's been a rough couple of years for you guys," he then puts a hand to his own chest,"but I'm here to help."
"Let me drive, win some games, and we can get this team back on top where it belongs."
Coach shimura replied to him with an annoyed voice, "See? Right there. That's your problem, " he leans."No humility. It takes more than attitude to become a giant."
Kenji sighs and leans with a frown, "i stopped believing in giants a long time ago." And walked away pulling Y/N with him.

"I can walk y'know-" Kenji cut her off. "I'm gonna drive you back home, okay?"
"But what about you?-"
"Don't worry about me, I'll be back as soon as possible."
Y/N groaned and muttered, "Okay..."
