In the realm of showbiz, a new star named Vikir Montecino has swiftly ascended the heights of fame. In a mere three years, he has carved out a place for himself as one of the finest talents among the nation's younger generation. His demeanor, refreshingly unconventional in a world bound by norms, sets him apart and adds to his allure.

Among the many things Vikir despises, lying and acting a false persona top the list. He detest the act of pretending to be someone he is not, holding authenticity as his guiding principle in the often deceptive world of showbiz. 

Wala siyang pake kung ano man ang sabihin ng ibang tao sa showbiz basta ay nagpapaka totoo lang siya. Ito din ang isa sa mga dahilan bakit na gustohan siya ng libo-libong tao.

The quiet of the room was suddenly shattered by the piercing ring of the phone. Tinignan ni Vikir kung sino ang asungot na sumira sa kanyang pagkaka tulog "Rece" . Vikir let out a groan as he answered the call on his phone. 

Vikir: What's the meaning of this bro, akala ko ba walang shenanigans ngayon?

Rece: Parang isang linggo ka nang natutulog ah.

Vikir: Ngayong na nga lang ako naka tulog ng maayos, alam mo naman this past few weeks have been an absolute nightmare for me.

Rece: Okay naintindihan kita, alam mo naman gaano ko pinapa halagahan ang kalusugan mo. Okay the reason I'm calling you is that Mr. Martinez would like to invite you to his birthday party this upcoming weekend. It's your call Vik kung pupunta ka.

Vikir: Nope, Bye tae muna ako.

After Vikir ended the call, agad niyang inisip ang mga pangyayari nitong nakaraan katulad ng traveling to places para sa shoots, Fan meets & Interviews. Sobrang busy buti nalang binigyan siya ng 2 weeks break ng management. Of course, he wouldn't have gotten this break if it weren't for his best friend and manager, Rece  Florendo.

Rece has been Vikir's best friend since their college days, where they both pursued the same major. Though their paths diverged unexpectedly, with Vikir rising to become one of the country's top young celebrities, Rece remained faithfully by his side. 

Hindi ko nga alam anong nakain nito ni Rece at sumama pa sakin sabi ko kaya ko naman pero binigyan lang ako ng walang kwentang sagot "Na feel ko kase bro na magiging sikat ka syempre kakapit na ako sayo ngayon!" sabi nya habing naka ngisi.

If you were to ask me if I ever wanted to become a actor and star in movies, my answer would have been a resounding no. I've always been the quiet type, someone who dislikes speaking up. However, everything changed when my little sister dared me to audition for our school's theatre play. Surprisingly, I found myself enjoying it, and it soon became a hobby to participate in such activities at school. Eventually, I was discovered by an agent who asked if I was interested in pursuing roles on a bigger stage. Initially, I refused, partly due to a person from my past whom I'd rather not discuss. But destiny had different plans for me, and that's why I am here as Vikir Montecino.

"Kamusta na kaya siya ngayon" pabulong na sinabi ni Vikir. Agad naman niyang inalis ito sa kanyang isipan at nag focus nalang sa kanyang cellphone at nag scroll sa socials.

Habang nag scro-scroll si Vikir may nakita siyang post about the upcoming birthday party ni Mr. Martinez 'Celebrity who will be at Mr. Martinez birthday party'

To his surprise, he spotted a familiar name on the list, causing a smile to spread across his face. He wasted no time and immediately texted his manager. 

To: Rece

'Please inform Mr. Martinez that I will be attending his birthday party.'

Cebu I'm coming home.

Maybe this time, we can start over again. I miss you, bub.
