Wisteria stood and looked up. Jade Mountain loomed over her. Wisteria sighed. And then, she slowly realized something. Not only were the majority of her best friends here, but Beetle's sister was here. She was much younger than Beetle, yet luckily, she never had to feel the mind control of the HiveMind. And she was the first Pantalan student to come to Jade Mountain, although some LeafWings wanted to. Beetle's sister, Cicada, like Monarch and Silverspot, was named after a great HiveWing Queen. 'What is it with dragons naming their dragonets after famous Queens of their tribes? Must be a Pantalan thing', Wisteria thought. Wisteria spread out her beautiful wings and slowly flew into the Academy, and landed at Jade Mountains library. As she slowly started to put the scrolls in order with Fatespeaker on Starflights desk, a small Nightwing dragonet who was sitting on one of the platforms right below the leafy windows, flew up to her. When she got closer, you could tell that the Nightwing had a couple silver scales beneath both of her emerald-green eyes. When she spread out her wings, you could tell she had a couple colorful scales spread out on her wings, yet when close to her, you could tell they were just small rubies, diamonds, emeralds, and opals studded in between certain spots on her wings. It gave her a mysterious look, yet made her look older than she really was. She had a bronze armband on one arm, studded with sapphires in a small ring around the whole middle. The matching one that was supposed to be on her other arm was missing, yet it was really, on the arm of her long-gone ancestor, the great Clearsight. Wisteria smiled, remembering when she first met StarWish. She had almost bowed to her out of respect for her ancestor. "Teria, Teria, Teria!!! Do you have any animus scrolls for me? And Cicada wants Clearsight scrolls. Ooh, and sculpture scrolls for Mink! So far, the three of us are reading scrolls on the SandWing Succession! And it's so boring! I mean, come on, why can't we wait till people stop talking about it!?" StarWish jumped up and down excited as I sorted the few piles, looking for the requested scrolls. "You know, the LeafWings have bookmakers and real books made of paper and Silkwing cloth for covers. It really is amazing, that the Pantalan tribes don't even need scrolls to read anymore. Some times, the illustrations and drawings inside the 'books' are either talon-drawn or they use these small weaving called mini-tapestries from the Silkwings! StarWish, isn't that cool? I bet Cicada and Wisteria can tell us all about it, right? Please?", Moon ran in with Cicada, the two of them coming to us. I chuckled. As Cicada blushed and mumbled "no, I can't really, never allowed to use books unless older, rule of Tsetse Hive, always be careful with reading material", I flew up to a platform by a window and took off all of my pouches and gently laid them in front of me. Everyone knew I rarely ever took them all off, so every student and teacher in the library gathered around me and sat down, watching. I noticed as SunStreaker sat by my left, Winter at my right and I sighed. The two rivals, who were sadly to in-love with me to even notice or hear what I would occasionally say about Beetle. I slowly pulled out the mini-tapestries and the silk and mini-looms. "So, today, I have been asked to tell you all about books. In Pantala, the LeafWings have bookmakers and the bookmakers create real books made of paper from the old wood in their home and they would also use Silkwing cloth for covers. It really is amazing, that the Pantalan tribes don't even need scrolls to read anymore. Some times, the illustrations and drawings inside the 'books' are either talon-drawn or they use these small weaving called mini-tapestries from the Silkwings! The way they are talon-drawn is the same way we can all write on scrolls. The bookmakers who illustrate by talon, always have at least a rainbow of colored inks in their own glass jars. Then, they dip either a very small, long, thin stick into the ink or use their longest claw. Then they draw onto the paper where the illustration is supposed to be. It is very rare to find books with talon-drawn illustrations as it is much, much more common to just use a mini-tapestry. So far, the Wasp Hive University,  Tetse Hive University, Wasps old palace, Jewel Hive Glitterbazar (because they have everything there), The Library (in Waps Hive, the main hive library) and the Tetse Hive Library are the only places currently known to have books with talon-drawn illustrations. You see, in Pantala, books are more common then scrolls and scrolls are rare, whilst here, it is the complete opposite. In fact, all of the Phyrrian Queens don't even know what a book is or where they could find one, for them it is mainly a legend whilst for us it isn't a legend at all." Wisteria cleared her throat and showed everyone the mini-tapestry materials and what you need to make a weaving in general. Slowly, people left and then, it was just Moon, Wisteria, Starflight and Fatespeaker sitting at Starflight's desk, sorting the scrolls and figuring out who wanted what and who requested what ahead of time.
