real life
"nor, hurry up you're gonna be late again." Elliot yells, sticking his head out from the car window as he beeped his horn. Elenor shuffles out the front door, closing it while trying to put on her other red converse.
"hold on, wait let me put on my shoe" she replies as Elliot continues to beep the car horn until she puts her shoe on and gets into the passenger seat.
she gets the seat belt and pulls it across her body to click it in. "can i have aux?" she asks her brother as he pulls out of the driveway, onto the road. "absolutely not" he says, eyes focused on the road while drives. "oh come on elliot, my music taste isn't even that bad" she whines. "nor, i can't listen to Billie Eilish again, that's the only music you ever play."
"how can you not?! her songs are literally the best music to ever exist" she lectures to her brother at his refusal for her to play music.
"wow look at the road" he says, trying to change the subject.
Elenor rolls her eyes at her brothers efforts to ignore her asking for the aux. she opens up tiktok on her phone to see the first video is an edit of one of the triplets recent car videos. a soft smile unknowingly grows across elenor's face before she lets out a small sigh, a wave of realisation hitting her when she remembers how long its been since she's seen the boys.
the sturniolo's have been best friends with elliot for as long as elenor has been alive, they were inseparable. wherever one of them went, the others followed. this resulted in them being at eachothers houses almost everyday, so elenor would see them all the time. as they got older, elenors feelings towards one of the brothers grew.
matt sturniolo was always there for her growing up. sticking up for her when the other boys would tease her.

"but mom, why does nor always have to hang out out with us!" elliot yells, stomping his feet on the grass in the backyard, arms crossed with frustration.
elenor stands behind her mom, holding her hand as they both watch him throw a tantrum. "elliot stop being rude, you will let your sister hang out with you and the triplets and thats-"
she pulls on her moms arm, trying to get her attention. once her mom feels a tug on her hand, she looks down at her and leans closer. "mom, its ok. i dont have to hang out with elliot and the other boys" she says softly, saddened at her brothers strong emotions towards her hanging out with his friends, which is understandable.
"see mom! even nor doesn't want to hang out with us"
"no nor, it's alright." she looks up from elenor to her brother "elliot, you are letting your sister play hide and seek with you guys" she says calmly while elliot scowls at his sister. as their mother walks back into the house, elliot storms towards elenor with anger in his eyes.
"just because mom said that you need to hang out with us doesnt mean im gonna let you play hide and seek, just go sit in the corner or something. " he whisper shouts, afraid of his mom hearing him. "if you taddle tale to mom, i'm gonna take mr. sherman"
