Geraldine is at the crystal shop while Fredrick and Casandra are off to someone's house to perform an exorcism.

A woman comes into the shop. "Geraldine."

Geraldine looks up. "How do u know my name?"

"Your niece is a bright witch. She can save so many lives" the woman says. "She has a kind heart just like sunshine for those at their lowest point"

"Who are u? How do u know about my niece?"

"I'm Verna. It doesn't matter how I know about u because at the end of the day, we are the same. U better rest. It's gonna be a long day" Verna puts her hand on Geraldine's head and Geraldine passes out.

Fredrick and Casandra sit in front of their temple they use to perform exorcism. It's a kind of battle with wizards this exorcism.

They are mumbling spells to 'fight' against the wizard they are dealing with. Verna appears inside their subconsciousness.

"Not now" Fredrick thinks.

"Your time is up" Verna sends a silent message to the couple.

"Not before I deal with the bastard. He controls plenty of souls and makes client suffers." Cassandra keeps her focus on the dark wizard.

"Says someone who used to be like that?" Verna steps between the couple. "There's no fucking excuse"

"Be fair, Verna. The wizard we are dealing with is dark. At least let us do the last good thing in this life" Fredrick diverts his attention to Verna. "Can u at least promise us that Sarah won't see how we die? We don't want her to see this, please"

Verna gets out of the subconsciousness. The two who kneel in front of the statue look struggling then suddenly vomit blood. Both of them collapse on the floor. Verna turns her head and see the black smoke vanishes in the air. She kneels down between the wizard and witch and puts her hand hovering over the heads. A few seconds later, no more pain, no more struggling. The famous Lim has died from an aggressive exorcism, that's what the world knows later.

Sarah should have died because of the deal but Fredrick and Cassandra negotiated with Verna.

Verna may be a cold blooded killer but what she does is because of karma and consequences. What on earth would she put a baby girl soul into a wizard's family and let her live? And now the wizard parents are dead. Maybe the girl still needs to be taken care of by someone.

Verna never leave Sarah from her sight. When Sarah was looking for a part time job, Verna whispered 'The Crain' into Sarah's ears.

When the Hill House incident happened, Verna next to Olivia and put her hand over Sarah's face and made a little movement. Then Sarah gasped sharply. This wasn't anything from the spirits. It was Verna.

"U can't break my deal, girl. U haven't been legendary yet. U still haven't helped enough people to reach the end. That's our deal" Verna sent this silent message to Sarah during the surgery.

"Lily, time to wake up" Verna told Sarah when she talked to Olivia one time.

"Lily" Sarah slipped out the word as if unconsciously.

She has been there. Verna has been seeing everything since the death of the famous wizard parents.
