I woke up to Elaine squirming in my arms , I pulled her closer.
I hated how her body rejected my touch " Elaine we're pregnant " there was silence in the room.
Her body frozen in the moment " can I have my girlfriend back please, I just want to talk to the mother of my child ".
" then go talk to her , why are you here with me ? " , I turned her around and she looked away.
Pinching her chin so she looks at me " you are pregnant " she blinked back a few times , opening her mouth to say something but then kept quiet.
" I miss you " I blurted out , catching her attention she looked into my eyes as if searching for something.
" when you're done being Larrisa can you please bring my girlfriend and the mother of our child back? I just want my girl.
I've been a dick , and I want to start dating her correctly.
So please Larrisa bring back my Elaine " she looked down.
" I cannot bring back someone who never existed " , " then where is my girlfriend? " , " Brent " , " please, please don't push me away , please you can do whatever you want.
I won't ask for anything just please give my girl back to me so I can take care of her " I could hear her soft sobs.
I pulled her close and she tried harder " why did it have to you " she screamed hitting my chest.
I just held her in my arms rubbing her back , I don't know how painful this was for her.
I wish I knew her story from her and not the pieces I keep getting from everyone else.
I wish she knew I never got my memories back , that I've been this Brent for 5 years and remember nothing at all.
But this wasn't about me , it was about her, when I felt her asleep , I pulled off her IV drip it must've been painful because it was sitting uncomfortable and she was starting to bleed.
I let her sleep nicely , Ben walked in with a change of clothes for both of us and toiletries.
David had some food , trying to slip out of the bed but Elaine pulled me closer and slept ontop of me.
The guys smiled , Ben placed her phone on the couch and they murmured " well talk on the phone , we need to get back to work " I just nodded.
They walked out and Sarah walked in she stared at me , I hated that we were now at odds.
" did you guys talk ? " , " you'll wake her up " , " did you talk or not? " waking her up she pulled herself of me.
" I am hungry " I got up and took yogurt and fed her.
" did you guys talk Risa?" , " where would we start if we did? " , " by him telling you he remembers nothing from the past " , I jumped up.
" Sarah ! " , " what ? You guys are having a child together don't you think it's important she knows ? " she was right but this was no way I wanted to tell her.
