Chapter 24

CARA

I arrived at home,
Ricky our butler welcome me home,
"Mr. Delevigne is looking for you ma'am " he said,

"Thank you Rics, I'll be there, I'll just changed " I replied

I went to my room, took a shower, dress up. I noticed my phone dead and Kendall's phone on my purse,
Smile formed in my lips, I think when we both open our phones it will burst from calls and texts. I put them in my bag and brought my charger,
I will charged them in the car.
And then I went down stairs .

"Hey daddy" I greeted him.

"Caraaaaa where the hell have you been,? I've been calling you nonstop"  he asked unbelievably

"Relax daddy, I just went to our beach house to unwind " I said sweetly.

He rolled his eyes and looked at me annoyed,

"You're alone? You never bring a girl there" he said

I sat on the dining table,

"I'm with kenny"

He turned to looked at me,

"I'm starting to think you're serious with that girl" he said

I shut my mouth,
I played with my food.

" I think I am daddy" I said silently,

He smiled,
"As long as your happy darling, it's ok with me, I just don't want to see you one day crying your eyes out"

I looked at him shocked,

"Do you know that your the best father ever?!" I said shocked

Smile playing on his lips, he turned to looked at me,
He mouthed "I know"

I chuckled,

I stood and hugged him,

"I love you so much daddy" I said to him

"I love you too dear" he said,

"I'm home" I announced as I open the door.

Mom looked at me disappointed,

"Where have you been Ken? Sit!" She snapped

Kylie didn't turned her head to me.
She's looking at her food.

I walked silently and sat next to mom.

I lowered my head,

"I'm sorry mom" I said

"We've been calling you nonstop!" Mom exclaimed

"I can't find my phone, I'm sorry" I answered

"Ohh Kendall! What happened to you!" She exclaimed , shaking her head in disapproval,

I sat there silently waiting for her to calm down,

"So where have you been?" She asked

"I'm with Cara, she brought me to their beach house, I think she forgot her phone that's why she didn't able to text you mom," I explained " I'm so sorry"

I heard Kylie's spoon fell down the floor,
She's looking at me shocked. Her eyes were like flaring in fire.
Mom looked at me then to Kylie shocked.

"No, it's not what you think, she just asked me to help" I rushed,
Shit think think Ken! I need to come up with a reason,
This is not a good time to tell them what happened.

"She asked me to help her to unwind, nothing happens" I forced
"Because were friends"

They both looked like they calm down.

I forced a chuckle,

I hugged mom "I'm sorry mom, next time I will call you"

"You should, we're worried about you" she said and hugged me back,

After we ate, Kylie still didn't utter a word,

As I went up to my room,

" so what really happened Ken?" She asked

I turned to face her.

"Nothing Ky , she just asked me to accompany her" I said trying to act normal

She looked unconvinced, and her eyes looks sad.

I feel guilty for what I have done last night.

Urggghhh why do we have to like the same girl.

"Do you like her Ky?" I asked silently as I walked to my room and she followed me.

As she close the door,

" I like her so much Ken, I don't know why but I'm happy when I'm with her" she said sadly,
"So please don't lie to me if you like her Ken because I know, I can see it in her eyes,
She like you so much" she added

I can feel my heart squeezes, I feel sad for her,
I don't know what to do,
But words came out of my mouth carelessly,

I can't even looked at my baby sis so sad,
I turned my back on her,

"No I don't like her Ky, she's all yours, please make her fall for you,
My heart belongs to Niall"  I forced out , as tears falls down on my cheeks as I said those words.

I felt her hands wrapped around my waist,

"I'm so happy to hear that Ken, I'm counting on you" Ky said.

I closed my eyes to hide the pain that I'm feeling right now.

How can I face Cara now,
maybe she'll understand.
I can't steal my sisters happiness.
Maybe I will just have to sacrifice my own.
