"𝗛𝗘𝗬 𝗖𝗔𝗡 𝗜 come over?" you spoke with a low tone on the phone, your voice sounded squeaky yet so croaky at the same time, and jake heard you sniffle on the other end.
he sat up in bed after hearing this and paused the youtube video he was watching. "yeah baby what's wrong?"
"i just had a hard day. i really don't wanna talk about it." you choked out that last sentence and let out a sob after.
jake felt horrible, even kept up with his nonchalant act he never wants to hear his girl like this. "did someone do something , hurt you in any typa way like u gotta lemme know baby." he was genuinely concerned.
"mhm" was all you could let out.
"i'll have my mom send u a uber ok? pack a bag so you could spend the night baby ima see you soon." jake quickly texted his mom and let him know the situation, she was very fond of you two and always wanted to make sure you were ok.
while you were on your way over, jake made sure his room was clean & organized, more or so that he could create a more comfortable space for you, regarding whatever happened.
he lit a couple candles, put on your favorite songwriters songs on his tv, making sure it was on a low volume, his bed was fixed, ac was on low.
he's such a thoughtful and caring boyfriend, even though he hated to show it. after all he did love you.
once you got to his house, his mom answered the door and gave you a long hug while she patted your back, and while you walked past his living room approaching the stairs, his dad and brother both said hi, making sure not to stall you so long, telling by the look on your face that something was wrong.
once you reached jakes room and opened the door, he got up from his bed and walked over to you. no words said, he just embraced you in a tight hug while you sobbed.
you guys stood there for a couple minutes, and shortly after you told him what had happened.
"me and my family we just all got into an argument and lately it's just been hard you know."
you guys hopped into the shower together, you not have been wanting to be alone. he made sure to cherish this moment, in hopes that he also could make you feel better and wash the feelings you had away.
he made sure he washed your hair good, giving you a head massage while you looked up and him with your arms around his waist. he leaned down and gave you a passionate kiss and smiled against your lips, "i love you baby." he whispered.
you nodded and closed your eyes, leaning on his chest while he leaned his chin on top of your head. "i love you too jake."
"i don't want you to ever think you can't talk to me about something that happened, no matter how bad it is." he said.
after you guys hopped out the shower, his mom bought up some dinner she cooked & some of your favorite ice cream for you, then she kissed both of you on the top of your heads.
"goodnight, don't stay up too late." she smiled at you both then closed his door.
after you guys finished eating, you completed your skincare routine together & brushed your teeth then got into bed and cuddled.
you quickly knocked out due to being so stressed out and crying for most of the day, and jake made sure you were nice and secure in his arms.
