"So that's what a werewolf bite looks like." Katherine muttered as she stared at the wound on Damon's arm.
"Yep."
"It's not that bad." The brunette added and Damon took a last look at his arm before he pulled the sleeve down. "Will be." He got up from his seat on one of the bar chairs from Alarics kitchen.
"So that's it? You're just.. going to die?" Katherine asked carefully, trying not to make the salvatore angry.
"Well, that depends. You know anything about a cure?" He threw back and watched as the brunette shook her head.
"Me, either."
Damon took his leather jacket from the couch and began to put it back on. "145 years and no last good-bye?" Katherine spoke up after the room had been filled with silence.
"You don't get a good-bye." He responded annoyed and then turned around wanting to leave but the older vampire appeared in front of him.
"No. Don't leave mad."
"Us ending up on good terms isn't exactly on my bucket list, Katherine." Damon spat and when trying to walk past the petrova she stopped him.
"Klaus made me calm Jenna to lure her out. There was nothing that i could do. I didn't have a choice." She explained but Damon wasn't taking any of it.
"That's why i gave you the vervain. So you had a choice." He corrected her and Lia stood behind him and almost face palmed herself.
"It was her or me. I chose her."
"I helped you. You owed me. Now when Klaus dies, you're going to walk out of here without a scratch and elena's aunt dies. Somehow you're the only one that wins. How'd that happen?" Damon asked actually curious about how Katherine managed to kinda trick everybody, again.
"I didn't let love get in the way." She plainly answered as if it was one of the most normal things, although to the older vampire it was.
"Enjoy eternity alone, Katherine." Damon walked past the brunette, heading towards the door.
"What are you going to do?" Katherine asked him, turning around to face him.
"I'm going to offer myself as a replacement to Klaus." He responded, answering her question with pure insanity.
"No." Lia added pointing her finger at him.
"He won't take you. He saw your bite, he said that your blood is impure. I'm sorry, Damon. But Jenna's dead, there's nothing you can do about it."
