This shadowy silhouette just stood in the door frame. It didn't even move. The only light that shown into this room is the light coming from the moon, and the light coming from the hallway.

The footsteps slowly walked closer, the owner of this silhouette sat in a chair, the moonlight rested on their face. It was Ivan. Ivan was the person checking on Till. He had to check on Till, otherwise his mind would hate himself for not seeing him.

Ivan leaned in and rested his arms onto the bed next to Till's head. He rested his chin onto his forearms. Ivan loved to stare at Till. He's the most prettiest when he's calm. Ivan would give anything to have Till. But he knew Till doesn't like him, like how he does to Mizi.

'I hate you..' Ivan thought to himself.

'I hate how I'm like this..' Ivan was thinking poorly of himself.

Ivan stared at the unconscious boy that was on the bed for, what it felt like 10 minutes. However it was only a moment before he reached out. His long digits touching Till's cheek affectionately.

'I hate that I'm meant for you..' Ivan thought to himself.

What Ivan didn't know is, that Till isn't meant for Ivan. Ivan has always felt so empty, even as a child. He never felt enjoyment or happiness. Not until his eyes landed on Till. Till was the only thing making him feel things. So over time he started to get addicted to Till.

Ivan was never mentally strong. He was never a fighter like Till, well at least not to the aliens. Because he did fight a lot with Till. It was mainly to get his attention. Otherwise Till wouldn't know that he exists. Ivan stared at Till's face before he reminisced about the past.

In the past Ivan was attached to Till's hip, like a lost stray being fed. Ivan especially loved the time Till let Ivan sit next to him and read. Ivan specifically remembered that time. Because he got to be in the warm presence of Till. Till was the only one who made his day brighter. Although at that time he hated Till. He thought it was hatred.

"Hehe, Y'know this book soulmates is kind of funny.." Little Till giggled.

"Yeah.. you're right. It is funny. Because Soulmates don't exist." Ten year old Ivan concurred.

In reality Ivan wasn't really paying attention to the book. Because he was glancing at Till's face. He was so envious of Mizi at this time. Because Mizi was the only person Till usually gave attention to. As Ivan grew up with Till, he began to realize his feelings wasn't hatred but unrequited love. Ivan might push Till's buttons but he's genuinely a quiet kid as he grew up.

He never spoke of these feelings to anyone, but Sua knew. Sua was Mizi's best friend but they very much acted like lovers. Sua didn't tell anyone. However she did confront Ivan.

"Ivan.. A-Are you okay with this?" Sua asked Ivan.

"What do you mean?" He acted oblivious.

Both Sua and Ivan were watching Till and Mizi play in the water. At this time they were about 13 to 14. Sua glanced at Ivan with a pitiful look. I am glanced back at her. He hated that pitiful look. He's been given that by most kids when they watched Ivan go through torment. The embarrassment that these extraterrestrial creatures put him through. The experiments and to put him trails to make sure he is obedient.
