"Still don't have a girl yet?" An teased me for what felt like the millionth time.
We were at Weekend Garage, getting breakfast, when she decided to tease me yet AGAIN about the fact that I'm still single. Ever since she got in a relationship with Kohane, she's been bragging about how she has a girlfriend and I don't.
I was sick of it. I'm not kidding.
"What does it matter to you, dumbass?" I sneered as I took another bite of my pancakes. Yum.
"Oh, I dunno," she replied with a smirk. "Maybe it's that I have a girl now and you dont?~"
"Shut the fuck up." I rolled my eyes. But her words left a strange feeling inside me. I've never felt this way before. Never.
Has her countless teasing gotten into my head? Maybe.
I sighed and took another bite of my pancakes. But even its delicious taste could not get An's sayings out of my head.
I stood up. "I think I'm gonna leave now. You know, get some fresh air."
An frowned at me. "Not gonna pay for your pancakes?"
"I will."
I paid for the pancakes, then got the hell outta there.
"When will she stop.." I muttered to myself as I walked through Vivid Street.
That's when I recalled a certain time when she said she'd stop teasing me when I actually got a lover.
"That's it." I thought to myself. "I just need to find someone to be in a fake relationship with."
But who?
Toya's my best friend, so it would be just awkward. Rui is definitely a no. He's a weirdo.
But.. Tsukasa..
I guess he isn't that bad of a choice. There's nothing wrong with him, he's just kinda noisy.
Okay, then. It's settled. I'm going to ask Tsukasa to be my fake lover tomorrow.
Hopefully, he agrees, because if he doesn't, I'm doomed.

"Okay, Akito." I told myself in my head. "All you gotta do, is ask Tsukasa to be your fake lover. No real feelings, just pretend. Simple. Right?"
I saw Tsukasa talking to Rui during lunch. Now's the perfect opportunity.
I approached the two. I tapped on Tsukasa's shoulder, causing him to turn around and look at me. "Oh, Shinonome! Can I help you?"
I hesitated. "I kinda need to ask you for a favor.. in private."
He nodded. "Sure! Rui, do you mind..?"
"Not at all." He picked up his lunch and walked away.
Tsukasa turned back to me. "So, what was it you needed?"
"Uh.. this might sound weird, but.. do you mind being my fake lover?"
He was shook. "Your fake lover?.."
I nodded. "Yeah.."
"I think I might need a little time to decide.. but can I ask why you need a fake lover?"
I explained everything to him, and I think he started to understand. "I see."
"I don't need an answer right away.." I assured him. Geez, this was harder than I thought.
"I'll think about it." Tsukasa replied quietly before heading off to join Rui.
