Marie rapidly taps her foot from her seat at the kitchen table, biting her lip.
She was sitting with her mother, who was calmly sipping her tea.
After talking with Anton, the white haired woman raced home and told her mother of the possibility of her father sending Anthony away intentionally.
That's when Ariana dropped a bomb, she knew Anthony was gay!
Apparently no one could hide anything from her. Marie had worried for her twin, but Ariana loves Anthony dearly, her youngest son, and didn't care if he liked men.
She only cared that he was happy and with someone that treats him well.
Now with this out in the open, the two women were now waiting for Hadrian to come home to confront him.
And from the cold, calm demeanor Ariana has, it wasn't going to be pretty.
Marie sighs, feeling anxious when she hears the front door open and slam shut. They were home.
Hadrian and Andre enter the kitchen to freeze, seeing Marie and Ariana sitting at the table.
"Ah, Darling, you're finally home, come sit." said Ariana with a smile.
"Not now, I was out all night and need a fucking na-"
A knife flies pass Hadrian's face, slicing his cheek as it embeds itself in the wall. Andre looks horrified as Hadrian seems to gain a fearful look on his face.
Marie stares in awe at her mother who remains happy and calm, hand out straight from where she threw the knife.
"Sit."
The two men rush over and sit at the table, looking at the calm, enraged woman.
"Now, Hadrian, Honey, I'm going to ask again and I don't want any more lies." said Ariana.
"Where is Anthony?"
The older man grumbles, looking nervous while his son looks to the table. Was that a knife hole in the table?
"I told you, he's away o-"
Another knife embeds itself in the table, a dark look crossing Ariana's calm face.
"Where. Is. Anthony?"
Hadrian looks frightened as Andre grinds his teeth. Marie glares at her father.
"Daddy, just tell us, what did you do to Anthony!" she yelled.
Hadrian looks away stubbornly, making Ariana frown.
"Hadrian, I want to know, NOW!" Ariana looked furious.
"I don't like being unaware of where my children are, it's breaking my heart with Anthony gone."
Andre looks up shocked to turn to his father. But he remains silent. Having enough, Andre slams his fists on the table.
"Mama, Anthony is out of New York... he's in an asylum."
"Andre!" yelled Hadrian.
"Ma is upset, I hate seeing her heart broken!" Andre yelled.
"Besides, Anthony is my brother, he should be home with us!"
Marie looks horrified, an asylum?!
Those places are awful, especially to people who are 'different'. She looks to her mother, who's calm smile was gone, replaced with a look of pure, murderous rage.
"You sent my baby boy to an asylum, a place that'll abuse and torture him?!" she shrieked.
Hadrian looks to his wife, eyes blazing.
