IT FELT AS IF HER LIFE HAD REFRESHED, like she had just came out of her mother's womb and seeing light for the first time. That's how it felt when the sun shone on her face through the windows in the light room. She felt numerous presences around her, but she didn't feel uncomfortable. If anything, the feeling was a longing sensation of peace. She wasn't aware of where it was coming from, she just knew the energy was near her.

"Maybe we should put a blanket over her..." Quil suggested, his arms crossed over his chest and his hand rested underneath his chin in thought.

"Is she even cold?" Leah questioned, not wanting to be there overall — she would've much preferred to be eating ice cream by the beach at that moment.

Embry reached his hand forward from where he was sat on the arm chair beside her, placing the back of his hand on her forehead to check her temperature and she was pretty chilly, "Yeah." He got up from the arm rest and bent down in front of the tv cabinet, opening it up to find a dark-green throw to place over her body.

She was now clothed since Embry had automatically grabbed Emily's pyjamas for her to wear from the bedroom as soon as he reached Sam and Emily's house and dressed her himself. The couple were too tired to comprehend what was going on so they ignored Embry's calls for help to sleep, they regretted the morning after though.

"Did you actually see her naked?" Quil asked, and Embry looked over at him from the corner of his eyes and scrunched his brows, immediately frowning.

"Dude, what the hell?" Embry shook his head in disbelief and Quil put his hands up in mock surrender before he walked away from the living and into the kitchen to grab a snack. That boy was always hungry.

Embry was too, but he couldn't even bring himself to take his eyes away from her for one moment... he was afraid she'd disappear. He was afraid it was all a dream, just like the ones he'd always have. He's always have dreams where he met the love of his life, but he never saw her face, she was always blonde however and full of life — energetic just like him.

"She seems fine, can I go? You don't need everyone to stand here and watch her until she wakes-" Leah trailed off as Violet's eyes slowly opened up, she'd been awake for a while, trying to understand what was happening. To be completely honest, she still didn't fully understand but she got some of it; she was being surrounded by a bunch of people, who seemed to be harmless to say the least, she didn't feel fear and she took that as a sign.

Embry rapidly sped over to her side, making sure to make her feel as comfortable as possible and to not be afraid. He smiled at her as she turned her head towards the group, her bright blue eyes causing Embry to melt inside.

Her eyebrows scrunched as she pushed herself up and Emily quickly sat by the girl's legs on the couch, making sure she knows it's safe, "Hey, I'm Emily."

Violet tilted her head slightly before she cleared her throat, it was scratchy and it felt as if she hadn't spoken in years, "Hi Emily." Her voice came out slightly deeper than her usual voice was, and she could feel her oesophagus clogged.

Despite her voice being unusually weird sounding, Embry still found it like music to his ears. Her voice reminded him of waves crashing on the shore, and the birds tweeting. It reminded him of peace, and of happiness, a smile made its way upon his face instantly.

"I'm Embry, if you remember." He smiled reassuringly towards her and she smiled too, nodding in response, assuring him she remembered and she smiled, glancing down at his hands as heat made its way to his cheeks, "And these are my friends." He gestured around to the group that were surrounding her.

There was a boy with short but not too short, curly, dark-brown hair and chestnut eyes stood in the doorway by the kitchen, chomping on a red apple with a smirk on his face and he waved, causing her to smile awkwardly. There was another boy, he looked slightly younger and he was more muscular, he had straight, short, black hair and his eyes were dark.

Then there was a girl, a bit older but she looked similar to the younger boy, having pin straight black hair too that stopped at her shoulders and dark eyes. While the boys held kind smiles, she held a look that made Violet feel intimidated, she seemingly didn't want to be there. There were two more guys, both looking similar and both equally as lean, they all looked the same; dark hair, dark eyes, tan skin.

There was one more guy sat at the table nearby, observing the situation with his hands in front of him. He looked like the oldest, he held a stern look that made Violet want to run away.

As she looked around at the equally beautiful people that were staring at her, she took a second to admire the room. It smelled like sandalwood and fresh bread right out of the oven, the walls were all wooden planks and the floors were the same as the walls, but the furniture gave it some accent. She could tell it was a beautiful place, just by observing the one room.

"What's your name, if you don't mind telling us?" Emily smiled, her hand comfortingly resting on the blonde's leg through the blanket, and Violet hesitated for a second as she stared at all the people around her before her eyes set on Embry.

They held eye contact for a moment until Embry nodded, assuring her it was safe to do so and she looked back at Emily with a small smile, "Violet..."

"Pretty name." Seth chuckled, grinning wide, little did she know, violet was Seth's favourite colour so he already had a feeling they were going to be the greatest of friends.

"Thank you." Violet smiled towards him, and Embry was glad he was sat down on the floor, because if he wasn't, he would've fainted at the sight of how beautiful her smile was.
