Rohit and Virat sat in the balcony. The IPL ended with KKR'S win and both Virat and Rohit couldn't be more happy as their Shreyas's team won the season.
He surely did amazing as a captain and maintained the team well leading to the win.
Rohit - I want to tell you something...
Virat - tu kabse puchne laga bhai?
Rohit just chuckled at that and took a sip of his green tea. Well Virat forced him to drink green tea though Anushka had made cold coffee and their wives and kids were enjoying it.
Rohit - you see... Aaj kal time hi nahi milta. Sammy is always complaining that I can't spend time with her. She feels so sad about it. Moreover even rits have to handle everything alone as I am always out for the matches.
Rohit said looking at the view from the balcony. Virat just nodded knowing where the conversation was leading but he knew like last time, during IPL he has scolded Rohit for talking about retirement, but now after thinking alot, Virat too agreed that everything is too stressful.
Virat - baat toh sahi hain.
Rohit - I was thinking I should retire. Waise bhi if I continue to play, other openers wont get chance.
Virat nodded and took a sip of his green tea. There was a silence between them. "Kuch toh bol bhai" Rohit said to which Virat just chuckled.
Virat - you are right Ro. Family ko bhi time dena is important. Main bhi soch raha hoon ki retirement le hi lo ab. Bohot khela bhai. ODI aur Test khel lenge. Bas T20i se thoda dur rehte hain.
Rohit - arey tu khel na!
Virat - nahi yaar.... Tere bina voh maza nahi aayega. Moreover Vami, Akaay and Anushka needs me too.
Rohit just nodded at that. "Sabko kab batana hain?" Virat asked. "Jab milenge tab bata denge. For now let's just tell bhaiya log aur apne doston ko. Inn chhote baccho ko baad mein handle kar lenge" Rohit answered to which Virat nodded with a laugh.
Anushka - kya baatein chal rahi hain?
Anushka asked as both the ladies entered the balcony with some snacks in their hands.
Ritika - bhaagne ka plan bana rahe honge!
Ritika answered to which everyone shared a good laugh. "We are planning to retire from T20i" Virat answered making Anushka and Ritika frown.
Ritika - why?
Rohit - kyuki we are thinking it's better to retire from one format and spend time to our families.
