Nine days ago:

Being a sailor of Atlantia is like a status class in which the city's economy revolves around sperm whale oils collected from its rich seas. But aside from this, Atlantians often speak about the sailor's greatest enemies that lurks in the depths of the waters, the Sirens.

Though, right now, the silence from the oceans of Atlantia was usual. Sailors felt easy assuming that the sirens are gone for the water's been at peace for 5 years now.

Next week's Tuesday, The king's second son is set to have his first sail out of his father's control who now gave the prince permission to finally lead the sail.

~Present~

Lucian POV:

The sun light beams through my window waking me up. My gut is telling me there's something im nervous about but it seems like I couldn't grasp a thought of what it may be.

I climbed out of bed and stood in the middle of my room rethinking if i should just go back to bed and take lang longest nap of my life.

I heard a knock on my door that got me out of the trance.

"Wakey wakey, brother~ c'mon the crew's waiting downstairs. Make it fast, father's getting impatient." Lorenzo spoke from the other side of my door. I didn't bother on replying.

"Right." i spoke under my breath in realization. Today is when I'd be leading a ship by myself. But I don't think I'd wanna go, it's been four whole days since a siren sank another ship, there's no way i'll set foot on a ship today.

We already lost two of our biggest ships last wednesday, and a rescue ship at friday.

We shouldn't have let our guard down, but we also never expected them to strike again. Atlantians thought sirens are just gone. I guess we were wrong...
