Reader's Pov
A girl also known as Jae is walking down the hallway is nervous because it's her first day as a high schooler and going to meet her new classmates. She arrived in front of their classroom, she was taking a deep breath before going inside. As she went inside, all eyes were on hers, she was full of emotions. Nervous, embarrass and scared. But as she saw her best friend, her smile pop up, she approached her and sat beside her.
"Girl, you're late" her best friend said and looked at her in disappointment.
"Stop being dramatic Cevv, I'm just fifteen minutes late" Jae said as she rolled her eyes.
"So you're rolling your eyes at your best friend huh?" Cevv said and Jae didn't respond to her.
Jae's Pov
This girl... Tsk Tsk Tsk, when we were elementary students she's the one who's late but I didn't complain, and now I'm the one who's late and now she's complaining? Like... I really want to hit her. You know what? I'll just do it.
I hit her shoulder slightly, and she shouted. "Ouch~~~ why did you hit me, ouch that really hurt~!" she said as she hold her shoulder.
"Overreacting" I simply said and I rolled my eyes. "Heyyy!" she shouted but I ignore her.
"Wait you wear glasses?" She asked and took my glasses.
"Hey, this is mine" I said as I snatched it from her hands. "Anyways yes, I bought glasses. My eyes are now blurry, I mean since fifth grade, but it got worse. So I told my mom to buy me glasses." I explained and she nodded.
"You now got that nerdy look huh?" The girl from behind said, which made us turn around. It was Sam my other elementary classmate.
"Maybe?" I replied and she just nodded.
The teacher finally arrived, which made the whole room silent
"Good morning class, I'm your adviser for seventh grade. Just call me ma'am My" the teacher said.
"Maybe we should start by introducing yourself in front of the whole classroom so all of you can get to know eachother. And tomorrow will be our nomination for the class officers." The teacher said which made me nervous.
"Maybe we should start by this girl over here" the teacher said as she pointed at a girl who is sitted in front. The girl nodded and went in front and started to introduce herself. I learned that her name is Louise, she seem nice and smart.
"Next is the girl that is sitted beside Louise." The teacher said which made the girl stand up. Her name is Nicole and I think Louise is her best friend, because I saw that they talk alot so maybe they're close friends.
I waited for a few students to introduce themselves, until it's my turn.
"Next is the girl who's in the very middle." The teacher said, which is me. I stood up and went in front, I started introducing myself.
"Hello everyone, I'm Jae. Nice to meet you all." I said nicely and smiled before going back on my seat.
After introducing myself I just listened to the others introducing themselves. Until a boy introduced himself. As I saw the boy, I find him attractive. His name was Alex. Which is familiar.
Ohhh, now I remember this boy. Last year I went to a poetry contest, he also joined, and he performed very well. Which made him second place. While me, I was 4th place which is kinda close to 3rd place, but it's okay. I knew his name when my mom's friend which is Alex's elementary teacher mentioned his name while talking with my mom.
