A Search for Birch Wood

Location: Aphmau and her friends are having a sleepover until the boys come crashing in...

Third Person POV:
"Alright so are we all set to--"  *CRASH* "What the hecky was that!?" Kim said directly into Aphmaus' ear, "KIMBERLY DON'T YELL DIRECTLY INTO MY EAR!" Everyone looked at Aphmau because her outburst startled them too, "Aphmau~Senpai are you alright?" Aphmau looked towards towards where the noise was coming from, she was now hearing...voices? "Um yeah Kawaii~Chan I'm fine," now standing up, Aphmau walked toward her kitchen. She walked in cautiously, "Aaron, Ein, Zane, Noi, and Pierce, really?" The five boys looked up and smiled, "Uh hi Aphmau!" "Hey Aph." "Hi Aphmau!" Aaron got  up, "H-hey Babe, sorry for crashing straight into your kitchen--I promise I'll fix it later!" Aphmau looked up at her ceiling and saw a giant hole in it, "You five. In the living room. now." Upon hearing Aphmaus' tone the boys scattered into her living room where she and her friends were before their untimely interruption. She walked into the doorway of her kitchen, "Sorry girls it seems we have a couple of pests..." She said looking at very boy. Usually she would let them go after a lecture, but a few days ago Ein blew up her house and completely obliterated it, her belongings, tools used to rebuild, and Aaron was sick so she didn't want to ask him to rebuild it. It took her forever to rebuild from scratch, but she didn't stop until it matched her standards. "It took me so long to rebuild this, and now there's a gigantic hole in my ceiling--" she stopped remembering spiders can climb. She was about to ask Aaron if he had any birch wood, but he isn't to fond of the wood. She remembered that everyone in the hub had ran out of birch wood, "Alright guys I don't think anyone here has any birch wood, so I'm going to go find some-- I really don't want any spiders crawling into my house." Everyone looked ok with the idea until Aaron spoke up, "It's night time and close to midnight, you shouldn't go out without someone to protec--" "Aaron I'll be fine, I know how to take care of myself plus I have my own powers," Aphmau replied walking out of her house before her husband could say another word.

***In the middle of the forest***
By now it had been at least thirty minutes since she left the house, and she still hasn't found any birch wood. Thirty minutes walking away from her house made her legs tired, and when she was about to transform from her werewolf form into her Nephilim form she heard something. It sounded like a twig breaking. She began to look around, trying to find where the sound came from. "Who are you?" Aphmau stood still, where is that voice coming from? "H-hello I promise I won't hurt you! I come in peace I promise!"

Suddenly a person came out of a bush, "Your aura--it reminds me of Lady Irene, who are you?"

"My name is Aphmau and I am a descendant of Lady Irene but um where am I?"

"I am Mary Ann and I am the forest element, currently you stand in my realm, this is no normal forest so I was wondering how you got here Lady Aphmau. Did you use your power to come here?"

"Um no--I don't think so, I can do that?"

"Oh you must have did it on accident, you must have needed something immensely..."

"Well I needed some birch wood to fix a hole in my roof, that was all I was thinking about and concentrating on."

"That's one way you can summon me. It looks like you dont know your abilities as well as most..."

"I only learned that I had this power...fairly recently."

"Oh alright but you do know that you didn't have to come this far for birch wood, for certain things you'd have to different biomes and things but as long as you're in the vicinity of any birch trees, or any trees for that matter, you just teleport and place them where you want!"

"Are you kidding me...alright thank you Mary Ann!"

"It's my duty miss Aphmau, if you want to learn more about your power just summon me..."

And just like that she was gone and Aphmau was back in the forest she was in before, it just looked more...real? Aphmau fully transformed into her Nephilim form and flew back to her house, and opened her front door. Everyone looked to be asleep. "Aphmau where were you for thirty minutes?" Uh oh she was in trouble now, Aaron rarely ever used her name. "Aaron you could've went to sleep I was going to come back, I couldn't find any birch wood." She walked to her kitchen with Aaron closely behind, "Aaron go to sleep I just have to patch the hole with my telekinesis and--" "First off I don't get as tired as normal people and you still haven't told me where you went and why you came home so late. Are you hurt or--" "No I'm not hurt, I was looking for birch wood and ended up finding something different." Aphmau nor Aaron could see so they switched to glow in the dark eyes (cool right?). Aphmau's glow white and Aaron's glow red, but when she started to use her power they glow purple. She began with the wood that was already on the floor. Then it came time to try to use her ability. She closed her eyes and focused on teleporting birch from a tree into her roof and ceiling. "Woah" and when she opened her eyes her ceiling and roof wasn't the only thing pretty, there were fairy lights hung in the kitchen emitting a low but beautiful glow. "It's so pretty!" Aphmau and Aaron said at the same time. Suddenly Aphmau got really dizzy. "Aaron my head--" Aphmau fell into his arms. Aaron was surprised and took her to her sleeping bag set her down and they both slept cuddled, warm, and cozy.

And this was the story of a search for birch wood...
