Chapter 15: Unexpected Confession?

It is Valentine's Day and the students of Southville University were occupied to the different events that their respective courses have in store for them.

Different booths were made by each programs and is compiled inside the wide open-field of their university, making the students from different courses to interact with each other. The deans have authorized the event allowing the students to take a break from their classes, leaving the professors and subject instructors with classes-free day. Even a few of the teachers were seen at the event interacting with the instructors from the different programs as well.

"Sige na po kuya, pabigay po 'to sa babaeng 'yon." Aphrodite pleaded to the boy a year above her who's managing one of the booths; cotton candy booth. While pointing towards the direction where Morgan is.

Aphrodite bought a customized cotton candy with a shape of a flower and rainbow coloured at the cotton candy booth. And the latter is talking out of the boy to take it and give it to the girl she's pointing at- Morgana Bernardo.

Ngunit hindi mapaki-usapan ang binata, Aphrodite was about to give up when her sister, Maki arrives and ask what's happening which her older sister shyly told her. Maki with a genuine smile on her face turns to the boy and tries her luck to convince the boy.

"Please Kuya, balato mo na 'to sa kapatid ko." Maki said and flashes the boy a warm smile completely sweeping the boy off of his feet, for unknown reason the boy absentmindedly nodded his head, agreeing.

"Yes! Thank you, Kuya. Ang bait mo!" Maki expresses her gratitude.

"Sabihin mo lang kuya may nagpapabigay. Okay?" Aphrodite said and the boy head towards where Morgana is.

"Thank you, Maki. I don't know what will I do if you're not here." saad ni Aphrodite sa kapatid at nginitian lang siya nito.

"Ano ka ba, Aphie. I'm always here for you, by the way I have to go na, ipapabantay daw ni Prez sakin yung booth namin." nanghihinang sabi ni Maki, tumango si Aphrodite bilang tugon.

"Good luck, Aphie." Maki kissed her sister's cheek before leaving and with a wink she disappear into the crowds of people.

Napailing na lang si Aphrodite sa kinatatayuan niya. Her attention divert back to the boy who's walking towards Morgana. She watched as the two finally came to talk to each other, then after a minute the boy turn around and pointed towards her direction and Aphrodite felt her cheeks heat up.

'omg. did he just tell her na ako yung nagpapabigay?' Aphrodite is now panicking internally.

Aphrodite being frozen on her feet, didn't see Morgana walking towards her where she's standing. Saka niya lang ito napagtanto ng biglang magsalita si Morgana sa harap niya.

"Hey." Aphrodite look up and saw a smiling Morgana in front of her.

"Pinapabigay mo daw sa'kin 'to?" Aphrodite wanted to facepalm right there and right then but she held herself back. Caught red-handed, she just nodded her head not trusting her words.
