"Whoa, whoa, whoa! This is moving too fast," Paimon exclaimed, her voice echoing with a mix of alarm and disbelief.
Childe, lounging comfortably a row above, smirked and replied, "Well, what else would you suggest? From where I stand, this looks like it could be some kind of puzzle."
Paimon shot him a skeptical glance, "And what could your muscle-bound brain possibly know about puzzles?"
"I think Childe has a point," Kaeya chimed in, his voice calm yet authoritative.
"Eh...," Paimon murmured, still uncertain.
Seeing this, "As Albedo mentioned, this could indeed be the first puzzle, assuming this place functions like any other domain," Kaeya elaborated, his gaze sweeping across the strange environment.
"Usually, in domains, you can come and go as you please. But it's not unheard of for domains to completely trap you," Albedo added, his tone thoughtful.
"In other words, there must be some sort of condition we need to meet in order to leave freely," Albedo concluded, his eyes scanning the room for clues.
By this point, almost everyone in the theater was listening intently.
Especially those who don't know much when it comes to domains.
"See? I told you," Childe said with a smug grin, basking in the validation.
Paimon looked at him with a hint of apology in her eyes. "I guess I underestimated you a bit." She nearly forgot that Childe was one of the individuals responsible for nearly destroying Liyue.
While Childe and Paimon engaged in their small banter, Alhaitham, seated in the third section, nodded in agreement with the others' assessment.
This place did indeed resemble a domain.
He studied the seven towering pillars that jutted out from the ground, their surfaces shimmering faintly with an otherworldly light.
Each pillar seemed to represent one of the elements, though their sheer size was far greater than any elemental monument he had seen before.
Despite the size difference, there were unmistakable similarities.
Alhaitham's mind raced with possibilities. 'Will channeling elemental energy into these pillars trigger any changes?' he wondered, intrigued by the potential.
It was a theory worth testing, but not just yet.
He needed to discuss this with the group and secure their approval first; acting impulsively might risk alienating him from the others.
"Let's discuss this later, the "video" seems to be starting as of now", Zhongli, who remained silent during their discussion spoke.
As his last words were said, the screen glowed brightly.
"We had no time to say goodbye, so let's not call it that."
...
The voice-its haunting timbre cut through the room like a cold blade, sending shivers down Lumine's spine.
Her breath caught in her throat, eyes widening in disbelief.
"...This voice!" she gasped, her heart pounding like a drum.
